Story Transcript:

Sl: Siječanko listje je šuštelo pod nogami Mateje in Borisa, ko sta stopala proti ruševinam Predjamskega gradu.
En: The dry leaves crunched under the feet of Mateja and Boris as they walked towards the ruins of Predjama Castle.

Sl: Nebo je bilo sivo, in hladni jesenski veter je tiho žvižgal skozi kamnite oboke.
En: The sky was gray, and the cold autumn wind quietly whistled through the stone arches.

Sl: Mateja je bila polna vznemirjenja.
En: Mateja was full of excitement.

Sl: Nič ni ljubila bolj kot stare zgodbe in skrivnosti, skrite v zidovih.
En: There was nothing she loved more than old stories and mysteries hidden within the walls.

Sl: Boris pa je bil bolj zadržan.
En: Boris, on the other hand, was more reserved.

Sl: Za njega je bil to samo še en dan na delu, a je vseeno spoštoval Matejino strast.
En: For him, it was just another day at work, but he still respected Mateja's passion.

Sl: "Mateja, spet razmišljaš o tisti legendi, a?" se je nasmehnil Boris.
En: "Mateja, you're thinking about that legend again, aren't you?" Boris smiled.

Sl: "Veš, da so večina takih zgodb samo pravljice."
En: "You know, most of those stories are just fairy tales."

Sl: "Ah, Boris, zgodovina je polna pravih zgodb, ki čakajo, da jih odkrijemo.
En: "Oh, Boris, history is full of real stories waiting to be discovered.

Sl: Tale grad ima več plastij," je Mateja odgovorila z iskrico v očeh.
En: This castle has many layers," Mateja replied with a sparkle in her eyes.

Sl: A njihovo raziskovanje je nenadoma prekinilo glasno rjovenje.
En: But their exploration was suddenly interrupted by a loud roar.

Sl: Nekje v grajski dvorani se je zaslišal padec, ki je pretresel tišino.
En: Somewhere in the castle hall, a crash was heard that shattered the silence.

Sl: Mateja in Boris sta stekla v smer zvoka.
En: Mateja and Boris ran in the direction of the sound.

Sl: Tam, sredi sobe, je ležal turist, bled in negiben.
En: There, in the middle of the room, lay a tourist, pale and motionless.

Sl: "Potrebujemo pomoč!" je zaklical Boris, zdravljenje pa je začel brez oklevanja.
En: "We need help!" shouted Boris, starting first aid without hesitation.

Sl: Mateja je bila zmedena, razklana med željo po nadaljevanju raziskovanja in potrebo po pomoči.
En: Mateja was confused, torn between the desire to continue exploring and the need to help.

Sl: A je hitro stopila k Borisu.
En: But she quickly stepped up to Boris.

Sl: "Daj mi roko.
En: "Give me your hand.

Sl: Skupaj lahko storiva več," je rekla.
En: Together we can do more," she said.

Sl: Ravno sta se trudila stabilizirati turista s pomočjo nahrbtnika in odeje, ko so se na obzorju zgoščali temni oblaki.
En: They were just trying to stabilize the tourist using a backpack and a blanket when dark clouds began to gather on the horizon.

Sl: "Ne moremo ga premakniti na vreme," je rekel Boris.

Sl: Mateja je z zanimanjem prisluhnila.
En: Mateja listened with interest.

Sl: Zgodba je bila povezana z legendo, ki jo je raziskovala.
En: The story was connected to the legend she was researching.

Sl: Boris je poslušal, vse manj ciničen in vse bolj radoveden.
En: Boris listened, less cynical and increasingly curious.

Sl: Ko so oblaki zajeli grad, je Mateja gledala na Borisov obraz.
En: When the clouds enveloped the castle, Mateja looked at Boris's face.

Sl: V njegovih očeh je brala novo razumevanje.
En: In his eyes, she read newfound understanding.

Sl: Enkrat je ona našla sočutje nad učenjem, zdaj pa je Boris odkrival nekaj več v njenem strastnem iskanju.
