Lt: Vilniaus senamiestyje, visada jauku vasarą.
En: In the Old Town of Vilnius, it is always cozy in the summer.

Lt: Kvepia žiedais, girdisi fontanai.
En: The air is filled with the scent of flowers, and fountains can be heard.

Lt: Vieną popietę, Linas vaikščiojo po siauromis senamiesčio gatvėmis, ieškodamas atsakymų.
En: One afternoon, Linas was wandering through the narrow streets of the Old Town, searching for answers.

Lt: Stovėdamas prie sename pastate esančio policijos komisariato, Linas jautėsi nervingai.
En: Standing in front of the police station housed in an old building, Linas felt nervous.

Lt: Jis atsiduso ir įėjo į vidų.
En: He sighed and went inside.

En: I feel something is wrong, but the doctors can't find anything," Linas replied worriedly.

Lt: Tuo metu sugrįžo pareigūnė.
En: At that moment, the officer returned.

Lt: - Mums reikės daugiau informacijos.
En: "We'll need more information.

Lt: Ar pastebėjote ką nors ypatingo prieš jos dingimą?
En: Did you notice anything unusual before she went missing?"

Lt: - paklausė ji.
En: she asked.

Lt: Linas pagalvojo.
En: Linas thought for a moment.

Lt: Tuo metu Rūta išsitraukė savo telefoną ir pradėjo raustis po nuotraukas.

Lt: Linas ir Rūta nuskubėjo kartu su keletu pareigūnų į vietą.
En: Linas and Rūta hurried to the location with a few officers.

Lt: Priešais juos stataus stogelėnių komplekso pastatų stūksojo.
En: In front of them loomed the steep-roofed buildings of the complex.

Lt: Jie pradėjo šaukti Eglės vardą.
En: They began calling out Eglė's name.

Lt: Po kelių minučių girdėjo silpną balsą.
En: After a few minutes, they heard a faint voice.

Lt: - Tėti, čia aš, - šaukė Eglė.
En: "Dad, it's me," Eglė called.

Lt: Jią rado visai netoli seno dvaro, kur ji buvo be sąmonės.
En: They found her not far from the old manor, where she was unconscious.

Lt: Rūta iškart patikrino jos būklę.
En: Rūta immediately checked her condition.

Lt: - Ji turi rimtą sveikatos problemą, - išdėstė Rūta.
En: "She has a serious health problem," Rūta stated.

Lt: - Reikia skubiai vežti į ligoninę.
En: "We need to take her to the hospital urgently."

Lt: Galiausiai jie nugabeno Eglę į ligoninę, kurioje gydytojai pagaliau atrado retą lėtinę ligą, kurios požymiai buvo anksčiau praleisti.
En: Finally, they took Eglė to the hospital, where doctors eventually discovered a rare chronic disease whose symptoms had previously been overlooked.

Lt: Po šių įvykių Linas suprato, kad ne tik fizinei, bet ir emocinei dukros būklei reikia atidesnio dėmesio.
En: After these events, Linas realized that his daughter's emotional well-being needed as much attention as her physical health.

Lt: Eglei pradėjus gydymą, Linas tapo rūpestingesnis ir kartu su Rūta palaikė ją kiekviename žingsnyje.
En: As Eglė began her treatment, Linas became more caring and, along with Rūta, supported her every step of the way.

Lt: Senovinio Vilniaus vasarą švytėjo saulė, bet Linas ir jo šeima pradėjo naują gyvenimo etapą.
