Cs: Karlštejnský hrad se ponořil do ticha noci.
En: Karlštejn Castle sank into the silence of the night.

Cs: Byl to starý hrad s mnoha příběhy.
En: It was an old castle with many stories.

Cs: Jana a Tomáš sem přijeli na víkendový výlet.
En: Jana and Tomáš had come here for a weekend trip.

Cs: Těšili se na prohlídku pokladnice, kde byly uchovávány nejcennější artefakty.
En: They were looking forward to touring the treasury, where the most valuable artifacts were kept.

Cs: Ráno oznámil správce hradu šokující zprávu: „Drahocenný artefakt zmizel!
En: In the morning, the castle's caretaker announced shocking news: "A precious artifact has disappeared!"

Cs: “ Pokladnice byla prázdná.
En: The treasury was empty.

Cs: Jana a Tomáš byli smutní a zvědaví, kdo by mohl něco takového udělat.

Cs: „Chtěl jsem vás sledovat.
En: "I wanted to follow you.

Cs: Váš zájem o vyšetřování je obdivuhodný,“ řekl.
En: Your interest in the investigation is admirable," he said.

Cs: Ale něco nebylo v pořádku.
En: But something wasn't right.

Cs: Tomáš náhle uviděl v rohu místnosti něco zářivého.
En: Tomáš suddenly saw something gleaming in the corner of the room.

Cs: Byl to chybějící artefakt!
En: It was the missing artifact!

Cs: „Správce,“ začal Tomáš, „proč jste to udělal?
En: "Caretaker," Tomáš began, "why did you do it?"

Cs: “Stará muž se sklesle posadil.
En: The old man sat down dejectedly.

Cs: „Byl jsem zoufalý.
En: "I was desperate.

Cs: Potřeboval jsem peníze pro nemocnou dceru.
En: I needed money for my sick daughter.

Cs: Ale když jsem viděl váš odhodlaný pohled, uvědomil jsem si svou chybu.
En: But when I saw your determined looks, I realized my mistake."

Cs: “Jana a Tomáš odnesli artefakt zpět do pokladnice.
En: Jana and Tomáš took the artifact back to the treasury.

Cs: Správce přiznal svůj zločin a slíbil, že nikdy více neudělá něco tak špatného.
En: The caretaker confessed to his crime and promised never to do anything so bad again.

Cs: Hrad byl opět v pořádku a Jana s Tomášem se cítili jako hrdinové.
En: The castle was back in order, and Jana and Tomáš felt like heroes.
