Cs: Jarní festival v Šumavě byl vždy plný radosti a barev.
En: The Spring Festival in Šumava was always full of joy and colors.
Cs: Tento rok však začal jinak.
En: This year, however, it began differently.
Cs: Malý chlapec, jménem Petr, zmizel během velikonočních oslav.
En: A small boy named Petr disappeared during the Easter celebrations.
Cs: Vesničané byli vyděšení a mezi nimi se šířily řeči o starých legendách.
En: The villagers were terrified, and rumors about old legends spread among them.
Cs: Šumavský les, hustý a tajemný, byl nyní zahalen mlhou, která znemožňovala hledání.
En: The Šumava forest, dense and mysterious, was now shrouded in mist, making the search impossible.
Cs: Jakub, místní milovník přírody a průvodce, věřil, že tyto pověsti jsou jen staré báje.
En: Jakub, a local nature lover and guide, believed these legends were merely old myths.
Cs: Spolu s ním přišla Tereza, antropoložka, která se zajímala o místní tradice.
En: Joining him was Tereza, an anthropologist interested in local traditions.
Cs: Oba měli svá vlastní přesvědčení, ale situace je svedla dohromady.
En: They each had their own beliefs, but the situation brought them together.

En: The forest smelled of pine and muffled sounds of celebrations echoed from afar.
Cs: Čím hlouběji šli, tím byla mlha hustší.
En: The deeper they went, the thicker the mist became.
Cs: Brzy narazili na starý strom, kde na zemi ležely podivné symboly.
En: Soon, they came across an old tree, where strange symbols lay on the ground.
Cs: Tyto artefakty vypadaly, jako by byly součástí nějakého rituálu.
En: These artifacts seemed to be part of some sort of ritual.
Cs: Tereza si klekla k symbolům a začala je zkoumat.
En: Tereza knelt by the symbols and began to examine them.
Cs: Jakub mezitím slyšel slabý dětský hlas.
En: Meanwhile, Jakub heard a faint child's voice.
Cs: Šlo o Petra.
En: It was Petr.
Cs: Byl kousek dál, v zákoutí lesa, zmatený, ale nezraněný.
En: He was a little further away, in a corner of the forest, confused but unharmed.
Cs: Jakub a Tereza ho rychle přivedli zpět k vesnici.
En: Jakub and Tereza quickly brought him back to the village.
Cs: Vesničané byli šťastní, že je Petr v pořádku, ale všichni cítili, že se něco zvláštního stalo.
En: The villagers were happy that Petr was safe, but everyone felt that something unusual had happened.
Cs: Další den se artefakty z lesa záhadně ztratily.
En: The next day, the artifacts from the forest mysteriously disappeared.
Cs: Nikdo nevěděl proč ani jak.
En: No one knew why or how.
Cs: Jakub začal přemýšlet, jestli na legendách přece jen něco není.
En: Jakub began to wonder if there might indeed be something to the legends.
Cs: Tereza naopak začala více respektovat místní zvyky a tradice.
