Sk: V horskej dedine pod bielymi vrcholmi Tatier, kde zasnežené cestičky viedli k dreveným chalúpkam, sa chystala veselá vianočná oslava.
En: In a mountain village beneath the white peaks of the Tatry, where snow-covered paths led to wooden cottages, a cheerful Christmas celebration was being prepared.

Sk: Svetlá na stromoch žiarili, a úsmevy prebývali na tvárach všetkých obyvateľov.
En: The lights on the trees shone, and smiles resided on the faces of all the residents.

Sk: No tento rok sa stratil jeden klenot dediny - stará koruna s drahokamami z miestneho múzea.
En: But this year, a village jewel had disappeared - an old crown with gemstones from the local museum.

Sk: Na konci, za skalným bralom, našiel Lukáša, dedinského chlapca, ktorého by nikto neupodozrieval.
En: At the end, behind a rocky ledge, he found Lukáš, a village boy whom no one would suspect.

Sk: Lukáš držal korunu v roztiahnutých rukách.
En: Lukáš held the crown in outstretched hands.

Sk: "Prečo, Lukáš?
En: "Why, Lukáš?"

Sk: " spýtal sa Marek, jeho hlas plný prekvapenia, ale aj porozumenia.
En: Marek asked, his voice full of surprise, but also understanding.

Sk: "Chcel som ju zachrániť pre seba," priznal Lukáš, plačúc.
En: "I wanted to save it for myself," Lukáš admitted, crying.

Sk: "Ale pochopil som, že som to pokazil.

Sk: "Marek s Lukášom sa vrátili do dediny, späť k svetlám a smiechu, a korunu vrátili práve včas na hlavný večer festivalu.
