Et: Piritale jõudes tundis Kert, kuidas külm tuul näpistab tema põski.
En: When Piritale arrived, Kert felt the cold wind pinch his cheeks.

Et: Taevas oli hall ja tume, meri möirgas ja lained murdusid rannale rütmiliselt.
En: The sky was gray and dark, the sea roared, and the waves broke rhythmically on the shore.

Et: Talle meeldis siin jalutada, eriti talvel.
En: He liked to walk here, especially in winter.
