Sometime between the evening of June 9th 1912 and the morning of June 10th 1912 an unspeakable atrocity hit the small town of Villisca, Iowa in the likes of which Iowa had never seen. Old timey + true crime+ ghosty= Buckle your seatbelt, put up those tray tables. It's gonna be one WILD RIDE!

OUR FIRST ON-LOCATION EPISODE IN 2022!! 

Today's episode transports us to the Bear Lake Valley at the Utah/Idaho border as we discuss the legend of the Bear Lake Monster. We'll discuss the history, the folklore, the sightings and the ways this monster has integrated itself into the tapestry of every day life for the people who currently reside there.

TW: crimes against children & sexual assault.

In 1977, three little girls were sexually assaulted and brutally murders while on their first night at a sleep-away girl scout camp in Oklahoma. After a 10 month man hunt to secure Gene Leroy Hart who had been evading police detection after escaping prison. Some locals believed he was being used as a scapegoat, others believed Gene was a shape-shifter... regardless, he got away again. Did police have it right all along or was there a vendetta? 

Years later, we'll find out what the DNA tells us.

10 hikers started a journey in the desolate and cold Ural Mountains in Russia. 1 would leave early and dodge a major bullet because 3 or 4 days later, the other 9 would be dead. Some died of hypothermia, nothing out of the ordinary, right? But the others... well they would die in a more peculiar way. They would be found with missing eyeballs, tongues and singed off eyebrows. They're bones would be shattered, withstanding the same amount of pressure as being hit by a freight train... but with no external injuries or bruises to explain why or how.

E2 of The UnXplained

Summer is wild but I'm BAAAAaaack! Today we will recap S1E10 of Unsolved Mysteries. THE FIRST UNSOLVED MYSTERIES EPISODE I EVER WATCHED AS A CHILD. It was nostalgic to work on this episode in a traumatizing, loss of innocence type of way, LOL! 

We will talk about Charlie Sigman who thought he had finally found love and happiness in a woman named Ann... He was wrong.

We will discuss a phenomenon called "missing time." Ok, hear me out, even if we don't have proof that aliens exist... imagine for a moment that these people are telling the truth. That would raise frightening questions: Why are they here? What do they want?

Lastly, we will talk about sweet Rogest Cain who left to go to a hardware store and never came home. There are clues that he perhaps suffered a mild stroke or some medical crises and he is having a hard time finding his way back home.

Hey! It's been a hot minute since we've had an onsite episode- last Summer in fact so ACTUALLY A HOT MINUTE! Today we'll be talking about 3 murders that occurred within a 7 month span. All 3 had 3 things in common: Drugs, Florida and a sketchy lawyer named Cabell Venable.
