n this week's show we discuss the concept of G-d in Jewish terms including "Revelation," "Prophecy" as well as Names of G-d and The Thirteen Attributes of G-d’s Mercy (Middot). In the second segment of our program we discuss how apocalyptic literature created confusion and made it appear that Jesus was introducing novel ideas in contrast with Fist Century Judaism. We put The Catholic Catechism and N.T. Wright's books to our pass or fail test as they describe Jesus as both the fulfillment and embodiment of Israel's role in the G-d's plan of redemption.

In this week's show we present a seminar presented at The Byron Sherwin Center called "Reclaiming Enoch: Rediscovering His Importance in Ancient Judaism and Early Rabbinic Thought." Rabbi Dr. Juan Bejarano-Gutierrez discusses the importance of the biblical figure of Enoch is increasingly clear to scholars of the Second Temple Period. Many Jews are unaware, however, of his significance in ancient Judaism and the transformation of this figure in later rabbinic thought. This lecture seeks to rediscover this fascinating Jewish tradition.

Rabbi Dr. Juan Marcos Bejarano Gutierrez earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering. He received a Master Degree in Judaic Studies at Siegal College. He completed his doctorate in Jewish Studies at the Spertus Institute. He received rabbinic ordination in 2011 from Yeshivat Mesilat Yesharim. He is the rabbi of Chavurah Zohar Yisrael outside of Dallas.

In this week's show we feature a tribute to friend of the show and supporter of The Farm Intentional Community, Dr. Joel Arya Goldstein. He passed away on July 10, 2022 at the age of 82. Him and his wife Betty Stevenson lived in Summertown, TN and were life long partakers of psilocybe cubensis or "Magic Mushrooms" and other natural hallucinogens. He was part of our first discussion on the influence of psychedelics in religion and he shared his experience and philosophy during this episode with co-founder/host of Mystic-Skeptic. We also feature music created by Joel as part of his prolific career as a folk singer and around the area were he lived.

In this week's show we respond to a follower of our YouTube channel that felt compelled to quote 19 Old Testament/Hebrew Scripture passages out of context to condemn all Jews, for all time, indiscriminately.
