In this episode, we try something a little different. Instead of planning a topic, we each pulled an oracle card and let the conversation unfold from there. What comes through is a surprisingly cohesive story: letting go, self-respect, and freedom, tied together by the recurring number eight and the symbolism of a lioness and wise elder. The conversation moves through themes of boundaries, using your voice, staying in relationships or patterns that feel familiar but aren't healthy, and the courage it takes to be seen as your full, authentic self. We also pull in the Dragon card as a supplemental read, exploring how the fierce, untamed parts of ourselves can mature into the quieter, more grounded strength of the lioness: someone who doesn't need to fight to be respected. August brings a lot to navigate and we're breaking it all down, card pull included. Grab your deck before you press play.

This month: Chiron stations retrograde in Taurus (Aug 3), asking where you've built stability on things that no longer sustain you. Venus glides into Libra (Aug 6), softening the transformation already underway. Mars enters Cancer (Aug 11), stirring tension between action and reflection and we talk about setting a "safe word" for the hard conversations this stirs up at home.

Then the big one: the New Moon Total Solar Eclipse in Leo (Aug 12), a stellium with Sun, Moon, Jupiter, and Mercury all lit up at the top of the chart. We walk through the full geometry, the air trine with Venus, Uranus, and Pluto anchoring the transformation and pull cards live to feel into what Mercury is translating for each of us.

The May 31 Blue Moon Full Moon in Sagittarius invites a final appreciative look at what must be released, supported by trines to Saturn and Neptune plus strategic Pallas Athena, while Uranus underscores sudden awakenings. On June 1, Mercury enters Cancer for about 10 weeks (including retrograde), encouraging softer, nurturing communication, empathetic listening, and sensitivity.
