Entertainment Revealed for 50th

On October 1, new entertainment will be coming to WDW. 

At Magic Kingdom, Disney Enchantment will be presented and includes music, enhanced lighting, stunning fireworks, and immersive effects on Main Street. 

Epcot will also have added entertainment as Harmonious will be debuting on Oct 1. 

Animal Kingdom will offer Disney KiteTails which will be offered several times throughout the day in the Discovery River Amphitheater. Each kite will elaborate across the water depicting Disney characters and friends from The Lion King. 

There will also be a 50th cavalcade.

Destination D Dates Announced

Destination D, a D23 event, will be taking place on Nov 19-21 at the Contemporary Resort. Gold D23 Members can purchase tickets when they go on sale in July.

Contemporary Incredibles Room

Disney Parks Blog has released concept art for the new Incredibles room at Contemporary Resort. The rooms offer characters from the Incredibles movies and have been refurbished to offer a more modern look.

Lobby Refurbs and Member Website Maintenance

Lobby Refurbs

Old key west and Saratoga springs are scheduled to receive lobby and front desk maintenance on June 28. 

Member Services & Website Closure/Maintenance 

Starting 10PM ET on July 17th until maintenance 20th. In addition DVC offices will be closed on July 18 and 19.

Housekeeping no longer available at DVC Resorts for a fee

DVC members can no longer request additional housekeeping for stays. All resorts show unavailable except for Riviera on DVC website (could be an error).
