Live concert at Glenn Gould Studio in Toronto, premiere performance of Le Dernier Chant d'Ophélie by Mathieu Lussier, conducted by Alain Trudel with Toronto Chamber Orchestra. I also played the Jolivet Concerto on this program, premiered Carnets de Voyages by Alain Trudel for trumpet, bassoon and orchestra and played the Shostakovitch Fast Dance in the version for trumpet, bassoon and orchestra. I remember I was wearing high heeled Fluvog boots that were killing my feet by the end of the show, but it was a great night.

From my first concerto performance on baroque (A=415) bassoon, Wolf HKICW... audience was surprised by how quickly it was over and took a long time to clap, but maybe they were spooked because they had clapped at the end of the long first movement.
