Nadzri Presents

THE SEASON FINALE IS HERE!!!!!!

This week we chat with the one and only AZIZ H(@azizharun212... or if you know him from youtube, ‪@jambul212‬ ).

He's one of my fav people in the WORLD.

At such a young age he has accomplished so much. He continues to motivate and inspire everyone around him (myself included), he has paved the way for creatives, and has shown what is possible when opportunity meets hard work.

We talk about his musical family, navigating the music industry at a young age, how he would tackle the industry today, and what's next on his list.

Years ago, I told myself that if I ever had a podcast, Aziz would be my season 1 finale. This was such a full-circle moment, and I can't thank Aziz enough for jumping onto the poddy with us.

This week it's my bestest of best friends - Fayezuana (@fayezuana).

She knows too many of my secrets for me to talk crap about her.

Everyone who knows her will agree - She's amazing.

She plays wife. She's mom to 2 tornadoes. She hustles HARD and constantly juggles her day job and passions. Faye is the person I run to when I need advice, someone to vent to, or someone to share epic things with.

We get real about mom guilt, side hustles, time management, being present, and more. I really feel everyone's going to have a takeaway from this week's episode.

I'm so privileged to have her on the poddy, and as a bestie.

This week we chat with Kong (fatboykong).

He made ice cream cool again with Happy Cream Co.

He's an old friend, always brings positive vibes to whichever room he steps in, and never shies away from sharing knowledge and lessons.

We asked why he got into the ice cream making business, how he got his product into Supa Save, the human side of branding, and how he juggles his time and multiple jobs.

We even get an EXTRA SPECIAL guest at the end of the episode.

This week we have Aisyah (aisyahmusic).

She's an amazing local singer, songwriter and producer.

She's got some EPIC accomplishments and milestones and is the first Bruneian to work in the American film-music industry.

Not long after graduating from university, she had an internship with Hans Zimmer's Remote Control Productions. She worked on Walt Disney's Christopher Robin, got her vocals on Amazon Prime's Wheel of Time, and has been building from strength to strength ever since.

In this episode, we talk about her experience working overseas, the state of the local music industry, the power of just saying "hello", and more.

She's amazing. She's an inspiration. I can't wait for all of you to get to know her (if you haven't!).

This week we have Coach Amaluddin (@amaluddin_jr).

I stumbled across ‪@UnfoldMovement‬  and his personal Instagram by chance, and I have been a fan of his content ever since.

We have similar values to coaching, and I appreciate his approach to working with his clients. He makes fitness fun, builds relationships with his clients, and is constantly developing his craft.

Working and living in Canada, he was back in Brunei for the first time after 3 years.

We were lucky to have him on the couch and chat about the experience of working overseas, the importance of a support crew (cough*Arianne Liu*cough), and what you should look for in a GOOD COACH.

Have you ever met someone and instantly knew they were a good person? I have. His name is Amal.

He was our first official recording, and I am blessed he would spend some time to chat with us.

In this week's episode, we sit with the WIZARD BARBER of Brunei, Jae (@jaeahmadkhan) of Chaps & Rebels barbershop.

He's an old friend and colleague.

From selling pomade on the side to cutting hair in his guest room during his free time, it's been so inspiring seeing his journey.

We talk about the YEAR OF THE DRAGON, working in a niche industry, the importance of COLLABORATION, and more.

Jae keeps it RAW in this episode.

I think you're going to love this one.

This week we have Khai Anwar (@_khai.anwar) - a man of many figurative hats.

On the corporate end of things, he has his hand in DotRoot Technologies and Onyx Creative.

He has experience running and owning a comic book store, Fanboys Infinite.

He authored Brunei's first A Grade comic book, "Tebuanman".

He produced, wrote, and acted in "Kopi", a local period movie inspired by a true story. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

In this episode, Khai shares the red flags, wins, and things to consider when jumping into a business.

We also get an insight into his "supervillain story", how much he loves Star Wars and more.

You're going to enjoy this one.

Joining Jenny and Eazy  is my partner in crime, Dan (@danjjuga).

I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with Dan for the last five years. He is quirky, hilarious, and easily one of the country's best directors, videographer and editor.

He has thoughts on the current film industry in Brunei. He has suggestions on how to take it to the next level. He even gives us an insight into his creative process.

On top of that, you get to enjoy all the awkwardness and movie references that make Dan and my relationship tick.

I am honoured that he takes time out of his life to work with me, and even more privileged that he hopped on our Podcast.

Eazy Anuar (@eazy_anuar) is easily my favourite Bruneian athlete. He is someone who motivates me, inspires me and is the living definition of "hard work pays off".

We talk about where he got his nickname from, the highs and lows of running his gym - @khalifamixedmartialarts, his love for Hip Hop, why he decided to lose weight, how he did it, and more!

You don't have to be a MMA practitioner to appreciate this knockout episode.

I'm so blessed to be able to interview and learn from my brother.

I can't wait for you to tune in.

Episode 1 of @nadzripresents had to be Brunei's Sweetheart, the Darussalam Darling, the ultimate Freelancer, Jenny Malai Ali (@jenny.malai.ali).

She's someone I've always looked up to and a human who always keeps it real. She is also the reason I took that first step into pursuing all my dreams and passions.

We chat about her journey - from studying in the UK at a young age to the exact moment she knew she was destined for more when working in the States. She even gives us a quick tip on how to clean our messy minds.
