Gaia (G33) and Kolade are both multifaceted creatives living in Liverpool, you may recognise them from the front line at the BLM protest at St.Georges Hall where their energy captivated hundreds of people. After the protest Kolade was featured on the cover of British Vogue and many news channels internationally- pictures that tell a thousand words and will go down in history as part of the biggest civil rights movement so far. These two guests were both extremely open and vulnerable when we sat down, telling me all about their life experiences. Kolade explains how essential it is for him to have multiple creative outlets, his love for fashion and what it is like to be black and gay. Gaia tells me about her passion for DJing, growing up in Brixton and how her proudest moment was being awarded a BAFTA scholarship. They had me laughing and they had me crying all within our two hour chat. This episode reminded me why I started the podcast in the first place and it was so insightful and eye-opening to hear both Kolade's and Gaia's stories. This is a MUST WATCH!
