Molly McCann-Pearson also known as “Meatball Molly” is a professional MMA fighter from Liverpool who actually grew up in the same area as me, Norris Green. 
She first got her nickname “meatball” whilst working in Subway, one of the jobs she had since young which helped her build a strong work ethic and an understanding of the value of money. This episode gives an insight into what it’s like for women fighters and the prejudice and oppression they face- something that has made molly “the hardest worker in the room”. She tells me how important it is to stay focused and disciplined and how she is now building other brands under her empire- such as her very own coffee brand and podcast “Coffee With a Chance of Meatballs”. Not only is Molly a highly talented MMA fighter she is also one of the most kind hearted people I’ve ever met who is setting a positive example for the younger generation in our city and beyond!
