This week Lisa chats to Camilla Brewster from Vistry Group Thames Valley Division. They talk about how the relationship began as one of their colleagues was using our services, and how it's a cause that's very close to the employees hearts. They also chat about the variety of different events that they've taken part in to raise money for Naomi House & Jacksplace, from Tough Mudder challenges to End of Year Parties, and how they won our Chair's Award for Corporate Support at our Night of Celebration in 2019.
This week Lisa chats to Brian Harpur from GRP Solutions. They chat about GRP Solutions relationship with Naomi House & Jacksplace and all the different fundraising challenges they have taken part in, from their colleague Wendy doing a Skydive to the team taking on the 3 Peaks challenge. Brian also talks about how supporting a charity and taking part in fundraising challenges is the best kind of team building there is, it's brought him and his colleagues closer together and it's one of the things that attracts potential new colleagues to the business.

They chat about how the relationship between BNP Paribas and Naomi House & Jacksplace began, how it's grown into a multi year partnership and how much they've raised so far. They also chat about the creative events that the team do to raise money, from family fun days to their big challenge in 2020.
On this episode, Lisa is joined by Stuart Campbell from Nintex, who is also one of our wonderful ambassadors! They talk about Stuart's experience with Naomi House & Jacksplace, starting when his son did a sponsored trampolining bounce for us, and how Stuart has taken part in many of our events himself, from the Clarendon Way Walk, to Santa Fun Run and most recently our Skydive! Stuart had a milestone birthday the other year and as part of that, wanted to do more to support a charity which is why he became an ambassador for Naomi House & Jacksplace. As well as attended events and giving presentations for us, he also put us forward for Nintex's Charity of the Year and got the majority vote from the staff.
This week Lisa is joined by Guy Wright from Freestyle IT. Guy talks about the teams involvement in our Skydives, quizzes and Run 4 Respite. They talk about Guy's involvement in our first ever Jail and Bail event, where he had to face forfeits throughout the day like eating dry crackers and how he raised an incredible £995! He also talks about how the support for Naomi House & Jackspace extends further than Freestyle IT, where he has chosen us as the Captains charity at Sherfield Oaks Golf Club this year!
On this weeks episode, Lisa is joined by Steve Rowe from Dekra. They talk about Dekra's involvement in our Corporate quizzes, Steve's first visit to the hospices and the support that we gave to one of their colleagues families when their child used our respite and end of life services. Their annual bike ride originated as a fundraiser to support the family, and has since grown into the must join event for cyclists in Dekra, growing in popularity and donations each year.
This week Lisa is joined by Lindsay Pamphilon from Redrow Homes. Lindsay talks about how supporting Naomi House & Jacksplace is now at the core of Redrow Homes Southern Counties, with the staff automatically thinking of new an innovative ways in which they can support the hospices. Lindsay also talks about the Charity Ball's they hold, their furniture show room fundraiser sales and how Redrow Homes did a DIY SOS style shop referb for us in 2014, and Nick Knowles came down to show his support!
This week Lisa is joined by Allan Packer from Silver Lining. They chat about how from the start, supporting charities has always been a massive part of Silver Lining's business, and how the relationship with Naomi House & Jacksplace was spurred on by a team vote from all the staff. They also discuss the Christmas Grotto's Silver Lining hold and more recently the donation drive they held for unwanted Christmas presents in 2020, as well as their plans for 2021.
This week Lisa is joined by Dave Holby-Wolinski from Ellis Knight International Recruitment. Dave talks about how Ellis Knight was formed with his two co-directors, Patrick and Paul, and how supporting charities has always been at the heart of their business. Dave also talks about the various challenges the team have taken part in, including their 7 marathons in 7 days dressed in a Viking Ship, as well as his personal fundraising challenges such as his Everest Stair Climb and his ongoing Row 4 Respite challenge.
