Part 1 of the Cheerful Poetry Pack. Poetry is always experimental for me. Mixing language & emotions, trying to splash a visual into the listener's mind and hoping it will have helped their heart express something too? That is a rather daring exploration filled with possible failure. I think that is why I want to try. It feels brave.

Luke 15 holds a poignant parable that normally emphasizes two characters; the Father & the Prodigal Son. This is a different angle that mirrors a very personal struggle I have had feeling like the eldest brother who works faithfully while selfish little brothers are celebrated. A bold continuation of the parable that Jesus told, this story changes the ambivalent ending, and give opportunity to embrace a new perspective on all three characters; the Eldest Brother, the Prodigal Son & the Father.

A Little Story with a powerful message about the realities we can tangibly experience, and the truths that are bit less obvious, but still real.
