Napoleon Church of the Nazarene

Welcome to our new sermon series, "Suit Up". We will be going though the book of Ephesians and teaching on what it means to put on the full armor of God. The enemy is REAL and we need to be living in the realization that we fight not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces in the heavenly realms.

We finish up our Building Blocks series with our last point in discovering our DNA of who we are; "Make a Difference". Pastor Chip points us to Ephesians, Galatians, 1 Peter, and 1 Corinthians to show us in God's Word that as believers we are to be set apart, a city on a hill spreading light, a holy nation. Together we can make a difference, using our gifts to edify one another and sharing the gospel to the world around us!

We welcome Justin Braun to teach us in this week's message of our Building Blocks series, " discovering our purpose". Our purpose and identity are not wrapped in being a mom, dad, spouse, or in our jobs. Our identity is found in being redeemed by Jesus Christ and discovering that our purpose is to follow Him and be transformed by His redeeming love for us.

We continue our series with the topic, "Find Freedom". Pastor Chip digs into the Word to pull out truths on how to break free from slavery in your life. What do you need to break free of?

Welcome to our new sermon series, "Building Blocks: the DNA of who we are". This week, Pastor Chip teaches on what it means to know God and be born again through the power of the Holy Spirit. This Christian life is about more than just being religious. It's about being radically changed by the Holy Spirit; your mind, your soul, and your heart. It's about having a new birth in Christ with new eyes to see and ears that hear. Are you open to the Holy Spirit doing a new thing in your life?

We end our "Book of James" series teaching from the end of chapter 5. Pastor Chip gives an encouraging message on confessing our to sins to one another, being healed, and the power of prayer. Be accountable to one another, pray for each other, and watch the Holy Spirit change lives!! We hope you've enjoyed the series with us in the Book of James. Join us for our next series!

Pastor Chip teaches from James 4:1-12 about the desires of our hearts and our selfish motives. We need to get serious about dealing with our sin and pursue Christ with all humility and surrender. This message comes full circle to our theme of the series, "Faith Acts".
