Napoli English Worldwide | The SSC Napoli Podcast Network

A long-awaited event! The Napoli Rant meets Forza Napoli Pod in this special simulcast InstaRant!  You'll be able to listen to this content on BOTH Napoli Rant on Far From Vesuvius AND Forza Napoli Podcast wherever you download your audio podcasts! Napoli Pod Pioneers Joe Fischetti and Raffa Rispo discuss EVERYTHING Victor Osimhen and the MASSIVE MASSIVE 4-1 result against Udinese today. It was looking ever so likely that Napoli would be 10 points adrift of a scudetto repeat, but that result coupled with an Inter loss to "Giant Killers" Sassuolo sees us only 4 back and everyone who panicked is suddenly back to jubilation!

Please follow Joe Fischetti @Joe_Fischetti5 and his Forza Napoli Podcast @ForzaNapoliPod

Episode 37: Bleeding Columns

Michele and Henry reflect on another frustrating weekend for Napoli. They consider why this stumbling start from Garcia feels different to the equally underwhelming beginning to the Sarri regime. Michele reads the temperature of the city and Henry explains why his typical patience with the club is not showing this time around.

The Raffs are back on this Labor Day 2023 after a week off to discuss Napoli's first loss of the 23/24 season.  Just when we thought all was going well as Napoli won their home opener last week v Sassuolo 2-0 and we even saw new boss Rudi Garcia making changes to test the limits of the squad, Napoli lose themselves and the match 2-1 in the 2nd half v Lazio at the Maradona.

As most of Napoli Twitter are now in panic mode after only one bad half in MD3, Raff N Raff's topics are Garcia's mistakes, Lobotka's role, Olivera lacking offensive and Jesus not being Kim are the topics of the week, while we still crown a Beast of the Match (win, lose or draw). Finally, Raffa N The Bizz breifly touch on Napoli's Champions League opponents with their thoughts on the draw that took place last week.

Episode 36: Is The Water Fresh?

Henry and Michele gather less than 24 hours after the 2-1 home loss to Lazio. Michele gives his Curva B perspective on Rudi Garcia’s new tactics with a particularly focus on our back line and the regista. The feelings of the tifosi and ultras towards ADL are explained as are the new season’s ticket prices. More important matters such as bad pizza, Mozzarella in carrozza and Stanislav Lobotka’s possible nightlife preferences are also discussed.

After a half hour of dealing with technical difficulties for the LIVE Monday night episode, Raff N Raff are here for week 1 of Serie a 2023/24, as Napoli begins their title defense. It's Champions v Champions in Serie A as the Italian Champions Napoli took on the Serie B Champions Frosinone at Stadio Benito Stirpe.

The Raff's have a lot to unpack from the 3-1 away win, such as  Osimhen starting right where he left off, bagging 2 goals on his quest for a first capocannoniere repeat since Antonio Di Natale in 2010 and 2011. Also, Capitano Giovanni Di Lorenzo assisted the Nigerian TWICE. Jens Cajuste got a surprise start that didn't go so well, but we saw another suprise as Zambo Anguissa was magically fit to take his place in the 2nd half. And Raffa & The BIz crown the official first Beast of the Match as Scudetto winners in this new season.

Raffa & The Bizz were also in attendance for the first Trii-State Napoli Club meet at our member Dan Nizz's brand new restaurant, Pizzetiello in Pearl River, NY and we chat about that as well.

Episode 35: Things Will Straighten Out

Henry and Michele are back to look ahead to 2023/24. Here they focus their preview on the fantastic listener questions received and talk about: Napoli transfer policy, post-Scudetto opportunity for global growth, ADL’s legacy, Osimhen’s renewal, Kvara’s expectation and the heated cone v cup gelato debate returns. Both are very much looking forward to this season with Napoli as defending champions of Italy!
