Raff N Raff Post Match is BACK!!!

Napoli defeat Venezia at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona 2-0 despite going down a man with Victor Osimhen being sent off AND despite losing Piotr Zielinski to injury in the first half.  Insigne with a penalty and Elmas the substitute for Zielu take care of business and give Napoli 3 points right off the bat.

Ciao Tifosi Napoletani!!! It's so great to be back for another season of Far From Vesuvius!!! We start the season with a new segment we're calling "Behind Enemy Lines", where we aim to chat with fans and/or content creators of our opposing teams before our match with them.

Matchday 1 has Napoli hosting Serie A newboys, Venezia.  Thanks to a remarkable source in Frank (@SerieA_Aust on Twitter), we're able to find and meet with Marco Rinaldi.  Marco brings great knowledge of Venezia and he breaks down transfers, his overview of the Napoli match this weekend and his projections for Venezia this season.

Then, its off to meet our newest member of FFV, Dr. Henry Bell. Wait, you recognize this voice? Oh...forgot to mention, its the FORMER Frank Sidekick! Yes, this legend of Napoli Twitter is no longer going by his alias and will now use his full real name and we've added another segment to the show, "The Doctor Is In" Every week that he cant be with us on a show live or recording, Il Dottore will provide us with his soothing voice and impeccable knowledge of all things Napoli.  This week, he chats about Spalletti and what HE might need to make Napoli a winner!

Raffa Rispo hosts, as we kick off the 21/22 Serie A season. Don't miss a minute!

Raff N Raff at it again!!! This is the last Rant proper before the start of the 2021/22 Serie A season, and we go into it with a BANG as the returning fellow member of Far From Vesuvius, Marco "Kubani" d'Onofrio and Napoli (and Roma) fan, our good buddy Gianni Delli Colli of The Calcio Guys joins us to discuss in depth what Napoli will likely look like on matchday 1 at the Diego Armando Maradona vs Venezia.  Before that, though, there is a LOT of kit talk and a WHOLE LOT of "what would you give up for just one scudetto"? This was an amazing episode and a fun way to forge ahead into the new season.

Where will we finish in the league? What do we make of Europa League? Is another Coppa Italia enough? Join us and find out how we feel.

Marco is back on Twitter after his war with the Bundesliga: @Kubani_

An abysmal way to end the season saw Napoli miss out on the Champions League by ONE POINT!  A goal was needed to secure third, but instead we finish 5th and in the Europa League next season.  Raffa Rispo and Ralph Bizzarro in The Rant was emotional, upset and frustrated. And we even get the official word that Gennaro Gattuso is leaving the club during the show! Very emotional!

Even though Napoli's season is over on a sour note, whats not sour is the appreciation and LOVE you've all shown us, and we salute you the listeners and viewers and TIFOSI of Raff N Raff! We pay tribute and thank all our fantastic guests as we say goodbye to Season 20/21!

YES!!! You read our title right, folks! Ken Cioffredi has come back to Far From Vesuvius and he joins Raffa Rispo right in time to (hopefully) celebrate Napoli achieving the seemingly impossible as a win over Verona this Sunday will see the Partenopei return to Champions League Football. One more win! We break down the possibilities, our starting XI and opposition.  We also go over who is more improved from within this season, and of course GATTUSO TALK! Nobody comes into this podcast without talking about Gattuso!  All this, plus questions from some of our amazing supporters, as this season's end draws near!
