Well, we are now reaching the end of this journey, this episode, and this wave of original creation born of authenticity, effort, and inspiration. I truly feel that time and events are passing more and more quickly, and it is inevitable to feel perplexed by the temporary and drastic nature of things. This year has gone by so fast, flying by, I honestly can't believe how fluid time is, the same thing happened with this episode of the Song Challenge, I still can't believe it happened, and honestly, I feel more than satisfied with my work, beyond anything else, I feel happy with what I've done musically so far, competition is relative, especially when you love what you do.

Music is a reflection of our processes and our reaction to them, encompassing the emotional, psychological, and personal at such deep and subtle levels that, at the end of the day, only we understand the magnitude of the music we make and what it really means. This creative process is nothing more than a reflection of our relationship with life and with ourselves.

In my particular case, music has served me to express different types of ideas: protests, dreams, far-fetched concepts, poetry, love, illusion, reality, and desires; all in order to forge a path and an identity, not only on a musical level, but also on a personal and human level. Art has served me as a support system to grow as a living entity.

The song I bring today is a dedication to everything and to my relationship with it. It reflects the attempt to understand and to see things beyond the little we understand. Are we all crazy in this life? Surely yes, but we are crazy in search of an identity that truly benefits the heart and soul. I could hear that flute, and I wasn't the only one. Deep down, I know I don't need anything else in this life.

Bueno, ya estamos llegando al final de este camino, de este episodio y de esta oleada de creación original desde la autenticidad, el esfuerzo y la inspiración. La verdad siento que el tiempo y los sucesos pasan cada vez más de prisa, y es inevitable no sentirse perplejo ante la naturaleza tan temporal y drástica de las cosas. Este año paso más que rápido, volando, la verdad no puedo creer la fluidez que se manifiesta en el tiempo, lo mismo paso con este episodio del song Challenge, todavía no caigo en cuenta del suceso, y la verdad, me siento más que satisfecho con mi trabajo, mas alla de lo que sea, me siento feliz con lo que he hecho musicalmente hasta ahora, la competencia es algo relativo, y mas cuando uno ama lo que hace.

La música es un reflejo de nuestros procesos y de nuestra reacción ante ellos, lo que engloba lo emocional, psicológico y personal a niveles tan profundos y sutiles que, al final de el dia, solo nosotros entendemos la magnitud de la música que hacemos y de lo que significa realmente. Este proceso creativo no es más que el reflejo de nuestra relación con la vida y con nosotros mismos.

En mi caso particular, la música me ha servido para manifestar distintos tipos de ideas: protestas, sueños, conceptos rebuscados, poesía, amor, ilusión, realidad y deseos; todos en función de forjar un camino y una identidad, no solo a nivel musical, si no a nivel personal, a nivel humano. El arte me ha servido como un sistema de apoyo para crecer como entidad viviente.

La canción que hoy traigo es una dedicación al todo y a mi relación con el, es el reflejo del intento de comprensión y el intento de lograr ver las cosas más allá de lo poco que entendemos ¿Somos todos unos dementes dentro de esta vida? Seguramente si, pero somos unos dementes en busca de una identidad que beneficie realmente al corazón y al alma. Pude escuchar esa flauta, y no fui el único que lo hizo. En el fondo, se que no necesito más nada en esta vida.

I started studying at UNEARTE a while ago, clearly because I needed a degree. One always learns, but to be honest, I am there to obtain that degree, since it is quite difficult to get into other universities such as UCV, for example, and the others either do not offer anything related to art or are extremely expensive.

At UNEARTE, I have witnessed an evil that prevails in Venezuelan musical society, which I had already seen before and even fell victim to at one point, but anyway, I turned a blind eye to it. Even so, I see that it is quite negative and deeply rooted. I call it “distorted thinking” or “empty knowledge.” Let me explain: The orchestra system has done wonderful things, teaching music to everyone (because even I studied there), and so far so good. The thing is, as I imagine many of you already know, that in those orchestras or conservatories elsewhere, they focus on technical and perfectionist aspects and not on the essence of music: “feeling” or being able to connect with yourself in order to connect with others. They don't teach originality or independence. In short, they often train musicians but not artists.

I feel that we must have an original vision when it comes to performing and composing. As I said, we must connect with ourselves and the story of the song in order to convey something. Hundreds of concepts and knowledge are useless if we don't have soul when we play. This is something that can be applied to everything in life. If we get lost in the form, we will never find the essence. I would like to elaborate more on the subject, but I think the idea is clear enough. The song I'm playing today obviously talks about all this.

Empecé a estudiar en UNEARTE hace un tiempo, claramente por la necesidad de un título, uno siempre aprende, pero si les soy sincero, estoy ahí para obtener dicho título, ya que es bastante difícil ingresar a otra universidades como la UCV por ejemplo, y las demás bueno, o no dan nada de arte o son sumamente costosas.

En UNEARTE he sido testigo de un mal que prevalece en la sociedad musical venezolana, el cuál ya había presenciado, e incluso llegué a ser víctima de el en algún momento, pero bueno, hice la vista gorda, aún asi, veo que es bastante negativo y está muy arraigado. Yo le llamo "pensamiento desvirtuado" o "conocimiento vacío" te explico: El sistema de orquesta ha hecho cosas maravillosas, impartiendo música para todos (porque hasta yo estudié ahí) hasta ahí estamos bien, lo que pasa es, cosa que me imagino que ya varios saben aquí, que en esas orquestas o conservatorios de otros lados, se enfocan en aspectos técnicos y perfeccionistas y no en la esencia de la música: "el sentimiento" o el poder conectar contigo mismo para conectar con los demás. No enseñan originalidad ni independencia, en pocas palabras, muchas veces se formas músicos pero no artistas.

Siento que debemos tener una visión original a la hora de interpretar y componer, como dije, conectar con uno mismo y la historia de la canción para poder transmitir algo. De nada nos sirve los cientos de conceptos y conocimientos si no tenemos alma a la hora de tocar. Esto es algo que se puede aplicar a todo en la vida. Si nos perdemos en la forma jamás vamos a encontrar la escencia. Quisiera extenderme más con el tema, pero creo que hasta aquí se entiende la idea. La canción que estoy tocando hoy, obviamente, habla de todo esto.

Regarding the theme of the song, I was a little inspired by those things that we shouldn't do but we still do, I think it has happened to all of us, even with food haha. We are covered by desires, and it's part of nature, to yearn, to move. In a nutshell, I wanted to make a kind of rock song with a theme of debauchery.

Do we have the directive of something in life? Does free will really exist? I don't know, maybe it does exist but to a lesser extent than we think. Many times we do not even know how to control aspects of ourselves. The illusion of control only brings bitterness, ironically, sometimes to “manage” something you need to let go of it in a certain way. In this case, hedonism takes over the subject matter, I think it's just a celebration, an attempt at genius. “Existing at the limit from subtlety” this phrase of the song is a reflection of how you can go beyond the sensory from a posture of stillness, meditation and stimulating thought leads us to manifest a reality according to desire.

Hoy me encuentro dichoso por mostrarte una nueva canción original, la compuse con la guitarra eléctrica ¿O fue con la clásica? La verdad, ahora que lo pienso, no me acuerdo, pero bueno. Ahora bien, a pesar de lo inhóspito que puede llegar a ser el espacio y el tiempo, prevalece el deseo de hacer música. Me gusta ver al arte como una forma de escape de la realidad, o de lo que no puedo controlar, no me gusta para nada hablar de temas sociales en mis canciones, me parece una perdida de tiempo. Siento que cada quien es libre de elegir como vivir y expresarse mientras no le haga daño a nadie.

Con respecto a la temática de la canción, me inspire un poco en aquellas cosas que no deberíamos hacer pero que aún así hacemos, creo que nos ha pasado a todos, incluso con la comida jaja. Estamos cubiertos por deseos, y es parte de la naturaleza, anhelar, moverse. En pocas palabras, quise hacer una especie de canción rockera con temática de desenfreno.

¿Tenemos la directriz de algo en la vida? ¿Existe el libre albedrío realmente? No se, tal vez si existe pero en menor medida de la que se cree. Muchas veces no sabemos controlar ni siquiera aspectos de nosotros mismos. La ilusión de control solo trae amargura, irónicamente, a veces para "manejar" algo se necesita soltarlo de cierta manera. En este caso, el hedonismo se apodera de la temática, creo que solo es una celebración, un intento de genialidad. "Existiendo al límite a partir de la sutileza" esta frase de la canción es un reflejo de cómo se puede iras allá de los sensorial desde una postura de quietud, la meditación y el pensamiento estimulante nos lleva a manifestar una realidad acorde al deseo.

Para esta oportunidad, he decidido tocar una canción bastante enérgica, emotiva y genial, una canción de mi segundo álbum favorito de uno de mis artistas preferidos, Gustavo Cerati. La verdad es que tuve mis dudas, realmente me había aprendido dos canciones de Cerati, medium y caravana, conecte de cierta forma con ambas, al final elegí este ejemplar gracias a su carisma y entusiasmo.

Por mi parte, han sido meses interesantes. Comencé a estudiar música, quisiera sacar la licenciatura en dicha materia. Comencé hace unos meses, al principio, la experiencia fue medio amarga debido a que no socializada mucho, pero luego me acerqué e hice nuevos amigos.

Esta canción del buen Gustavo es un tema que habla de un encuentro, nacido del deseo, la atracción, bueno básicamente de lo que trata todo el disco de "Ahí vamos", canciones bien rockeras que hablan de amor y placer desenfrenado, como si no hubiese un mañana. Caravana hace referencia a las multitudes, y como la tención de esta se vuelve un vacío que ve a través del ser, "se lleva parte de mi esencia" o tal vez un vacío que ya estaba ahí. La canción está llena de frases icónicas, motivos melódicos que te elvan de cierta manera. Un verso de esta canción que me gusta mucho y dice : "Estoy cercado por la ciencia" ¿A qué se refiere con ciencia? Tal vez trata de explicar a las leyes de la naturaleza y como estas limitan su capacidad. La canción tiene un estribillo estupendo, con un mensaje que nos lleva a la introspección "Hay que cerrar los ojos para poder ver", tal vez se refiere a observara más allá de los sentidos, tener visión desde el interior y lo que no podemos entender. "El diablo no es maque un ángel con ansias de poder", de verdad esta frase es demasiado genial, te juro que no para de reproducirse en mi cabeza, un verso interesante que hace alusión al deseo del poder y como este puede corromper la mente y las acciones. En conclusión, esta es una canción que nos lleva al límite, con un mensaje de desenfreno y pasión por la vida y el amor.

What does the song talk about? Well, it talks about appreciation, meditation, meditation on what we love. Ahora bien, hablando de la canción. Esta es una pieza original, la escribí hace un par de días. La verdad es que no tenía ninguna idea, no había leído nada ni estudiado nada musical, tampoco tenía inspiración, pero tomé mi guitarra, y de la nada empezó a salir la letra, luego los acordes, la melodía y la armonía, no sé, no pensé que iba a componer algo y de repente se manifestó una canción, y la verdad es que me gusta mucho. No todas las canciones que he escrito me han gustado, esas que no me gustan las desecho y no las vuelvo a tocar, eliminándolas de mi repertorio.

¿De que habla la canción? Bueno, habla sobre la apreciación, la meditación, la meditación en aquello que amamos. Cuando estamos enamorados, o centrados en lograr un objetivo, pensamos mucho en ello, nos esmeramos en lograrlo, pero hay una parte de ese proceso en el cual solo observamos, con deseo, con determinación o solo por observar, eso es meditación. A few days ago, at my mom's house, there was an event made by a production company where they brought several famous people of internet from Venezuela, as a special guest was Ramses Meneses (Mcklopedia) my mom met him and signed an album she has of him.

A few days later, it occurred to me to keep listening to his songs outside of the album that I like the most. I found several very nice ones that he released years ago, but one caught my attention and that was the song "Cerezo". I've been quite busy these days, so I didn't have time to finish learning this song well, so I spent several days rehearsing it and, I'll be honest, I ended up hating it a little bit from repeating it so much haha.

The song has very beautiful lyrics, even a bit poetic at the beginning. It talks about how he feels lost in the midst of his path to freedom, and how in the midst of that confusion he looks for love and inspiration in her, or in that love that lifts him up. Taking refuge, in something or someone, I think is a human need. We all seek in some way something that gives us security and well-being. Hace unos días, en casa de mi mamá, hubo un evento hecho por una productora donde trajeron a varias personas famosas de internet de Venezuela, como invitado especial estaba Ramsés Meneses (Mcklopedia) mi mamá lo conoció y le firmó un disco que ella tiene de él.

A los días, se me ocurrió seguir escuchando canciones de el fuera del álbum que más me gusta. Encontré varias muy bonitas que saco hace años, pero una me llamó la atención y fue la canción "Cerezo". He estado bastante ocupado estos días, así que no me daba tiempo de terminar de aprender bien esta canción, por eso pasaron varios días ensayandola y, te soy sincero, la termine odiando un poco de tanto repetirla jaja.

La canción tiene una letra muy bonita, incluso algo poética al principio. Habla sobre como el se siente perdido en medio de su camino de libertad, y como en medio de esa confusión el busca el amor y la inspiración en ella, o en aquel amor que lo levante. También hace referencia a la muerte, bueno, eso es una parte que se explica por si sola.

Refugiarse, en algo o en alguien, creo que es una necesidad humana. Todos buscamos de alguna manera algo que nos dé seguridad y bienestar. Las personas a nuestro alrededor nos pueden dar algo de eso que buscamos, sea de la forma que sea, algunas situaciones también, pero siempre encontraremos el mejor refugio en nuestro interior, en el ser. Si nuestro ser se encuentra en plenitud, siempre estaremos en plenitud, si en nuestro ser hay felicidad, siempre seremos felices, si en nuestro ser hay conciencia, nuestros actos siempre serán benevolentes para nosotros y los demás. Si no hacemos las cosas desde el interior, desde la realidad, entonces el bienestar y la seguridad serán permanentes, efímeros e inestables.

Para esta oportunidad traigo una canción de Juanes, no uno de sus clásicos, si no una canción mas o menos nueva, de sus último trabajos. Había notado, hace un tiempo, que Juanes había hecho unas canciones medio feas, como imitando el estilo urbano, bueno, lo ví en una sola canción, no sé si hizo todo un álbum con esa temática, pero supongo que no le funcionó el método, porque sus últimas canciones han Sido muy bonitas y con su estilo propio. Las canciones de Juanes son casi todas de amor, amor aquí amor allá, no he escuchado una temática muy profunda ni filosófica en sus temas, pero bueno, todo tiene un significado interesante si lo ves desde otra perspectiva.

La canción que hoy traigo comienza hablando sobre una persona que llegó, pero que jamás había sido esperada ni planificada su llegada. Al parecer, esa persona apareció en un momento no muy adecuado, en el cual es difícil juntarse, sin embargo hay amor en esa situación y deseo de que las cosas funcionen. A menudo, cuando uno no busca las cosas, esas cosas se manifiestan en nuestra vida de forma natural. Perseguir demasiado algo a veces hace que eso se aleje, cuando en realidad nos toca aceptar o aprender otra cosa, no me mal interpreten, hay cosas por las que trabajamos que se dan en el momento preciso, y el deseo hace que atraigamos, pero no siempre lo que queremos es lo que necesitamos, y la obsesión a menudo no es buena. Hay que dejar a la vida fluir, soltar y dejar que nos lleguen las cosas mediante la buena ocupación.

La canción que hoy traigo es una excelente canción de Gustavo Cerati, "Camuflaje" me la habían sugerido hace un tiempo, pero la había olvidado. La canción creo que habla sobre el amor y como podemos ocultarnos a simple vista, por la vergüenza, y como poco a poco esa coraza va colapsando para poder entregarse por completo al amor. Claro, siento que las canciones de Cerati, como siempre he dicho, puede que tengan significados más interesantes y profundos, sobre cuestiones del alma y el cuerpo. La idea me parece algo que puede suceder de acuerdo a la época y el contexto, pero también es una idea que se presta para que muchas personas que realmente son tontas la usen como justificativo para decir que son incomprendidas cuando en realidad no lo son, es algo que he visto muchas veces, no lo sé, el papel de mártir y víctima no le queda bien a nadie y menos si ninguno de nosotros es santo. A veces siento que los que son realmente inteligentes no andan diciendo que lo son. Sin embargo, es algo que le puede pasar a algunas personas.

Esta ha Sido una semana un poco complicada, me ha tocado cuidar a mi mamá estos días porque tiene una colitis algo fuerte, tiene mucho dolor de estómago y no puede comer muchos carbohidratos. La tuvimos que llevar al hospital de emergencia, le dieron unos calmantes, sueros y protectores gástricos. A veces está bien, a veces vuelve a recaer, espero que se mejore pronto. Debido a la circunstancia, se quedó en mi casa un par de días, y ahora yo vine a la suya para cuidarla un poco, ella vive con mis dos hermanos adolescentes. Por eso ves que estoy grabando desde un lugar diferente, y perdón por el ruido de fondo, creo que había gente en la casa de al lado y también algo de música. Anoche no pude dormir muy bien porque mi mamá tuvo dolores en la madrugada, por eso tal vez no tengo el mejor carisma en el video, claro, siempre soy serio, así que no se.

Ahora bien, con respecto a la canción, esta vez toco Jorge Drexler! Estuve buscando entre sus canciones y encontré este bonito tema, "Mundo abisal" una canción que habla sobre las profundidades en relación con el amor y los sentimientos. El oceano es un mundo increíble, gigantesco y con grandes misterios, supongo que Drexler ve los sentimientos como un mundo profundo, interesante e impredecible.

Cada cabeza es un mundo, como dicen por ahí, y las relaciones entre dos o varias personas son también mundos que se forman a partir de esos mundos. Estamos llenos de pensamientos, ideas, creencias, personalidad, etc. Somos complejos, un oceano donde está la conciencia en la superficie, y el subconsciente en el fondo. Nos movemos gracias a ambos factores y nuestras vidas son formadas como un fractal infinito.

The song stayed in my mind and I remembered it today, I looked for the chords and decided to bring it for this week number 129 in its round 3. How fast time goes by, it's been more than two years since the hive music festival started, by that time, I was still living in the city of Maracay, how many memories.

The song I bring today by Charly is a pretty funny song, with an interesting style. Hace un par de semanas quise subir una canción de Charly para esta comunidad, pero por varias circunstancias no puede. La canción se quedó en mi mente y la recordé el día de hoy, busqué los acordes y decidí traerla para esta semana número 129 en su ronda 3. En este mundo todos estamos locos, hay gente buena, pero también hay gente muy egocéntrica y aprovechada, que utilizan a los demás para sus propios fines, o también existen aquellos que solo quieren llamar la atención a como de lugar. Creo que esas naturalezas negativas en las personas son estimuladas por una sociedad podrida, llena de mentiras y atracciones malévolas. Creo que en un mundo así no hay salvaciones colectivas si no individuales. Todo tiene sus matices también, hay cosas bonitas aquí, gente positiva, buenos momentos, pero bueno, hoy hacemos mención a esa triste realidad que vivimos gracias a la canción de Charly que nos recuerda que hay que estar atentos, precavidos y conscientes de la realidad.
