The #5 Key is about Inner Vows.
A Vow is a promise. It’s a belief. It goes into our core, our subconscious, much like the #4 Key when we talked about Identity… our Vows go deep, and we will see them played out in our lives eventually.
There are healthy and destructive Inner Vows.
Negative Inner Vows are made in order to protect us from getting hurt. They’re usually the product of some life-shattering event in our lives. Negative Inner Vows are life-draining, both to us and our relationships.
Positive Inner Vows are made when we are valued, loved, and accepted. They are usually the product of a healthy relationship with God, family, and others. They give us a true understanding of our worth as human beings. Positive Inner Vows are life-giving, both to us and our relationships.

He uses stories from Joseph Stalin, Ronald Reagan, an unnamed Jewish Woman, and more to teach this Key…
