NASA Announces Delays for Artemis II and Artemis III Missions - Video Summary

NASA announced that the Artemis II and III missions have been delayed; missions to the Moon have been delayed until 2026 and 2027, respectively, due to a heat shield issue on the Orion space capsule discovered during the Artemis I unmanned Moon mission. The delays will provide an additional opportunity for scrutiny of the extremely expensive NASA moon rocket, the SLS. Will a more affordable commercial option replace the SLS, and how will this impact the Artemis missions?
