Perfectionism is a word that lives rent free in my mind. That word alone has consumed many thoughts and much energy into trying to create this idea of the perfect day perfect life. I've been working to shift my mindset from the thought of being perfect into reminding myself of progress over perfection. Letting go of this thought process so that I can continue on my self development journey. Not allowing this narrative to control my life or decisions that I'm making. The journey I have been on lately has been about creating a life that is authentic to me. What do I want my life to look like? What feels good to me? What kind of household do I want to create with my partner? What kind of friendships do I want? All of these questions I have asked myself and put some deep thoughts into. Stepping into this new space of womanhood, adulthood, really asking myself if my inner child would be proud of the woman I am becoming.
