Natasha Swerdloff: Living with Ease, Even When Life Is Hard

Listen Later

Natasha has co-authored a new book with Dicken Bettinger focused on helping people find more ease in life's challenges by understanding thought and our true nature

She emphasises that ease comes not from avoiding challenges, but from a deeper understanding of how our minds work

Natasha has seen profound personal changes in her reactions and judgments through her understanding of the Three Principles

In a recent experience she found herself responding with love and compassion to a family member's suicide attempt, rather than anger or judgment

Her explanation of the Three Principles:

  • Thought: Understanding thought as the bridge between intellect and true nature

  • Consciousness: Awareness of our thinking and experiences

  • Mind: The intelligence behind life and our experiences
