There is a new cobalt mine that is opening in the Salmon-Challis National Forest. Meanwhile in Mountain Home, there is a City Councilman who is under fire for what some are calling discrimination. Also, the Mountain Home Police Chief has been placed on paid administrative leave.

Nationally, Biden announced that he will give a pardon for all federal offenses of marijuana possession. What are your thoughts? (10/6/22)

For the past two nights there have been debates for different state races in Idaho. If you are undecided, why are you undecided? Did you watch the debates? If you are decided, are you voting for anyone out of spite for another candidate? After that discussion, Nate asked: What was the most difficult class or teacher you had? This is in regards to a New York University adjunct professor who was fired after students signed a petition saying his organic chemistry class was too hard. (10/5/22)

North Korea launched a missile over Japan today. Should we, as Americans be concerned that it went almost 3,000 miles? What could this mean for us in the future? Nate discussed that and then brought things back to a local level. There was a transgender inmate, who was released last year, while they were serving their sentence, they got gender reassignment surgery. The State of Idaho and its prison medical care company have now been ordered to pay $2.5 Million of legal fees to that inmate. What are your thoughts? We are five weeks away from election day. The Supreme Court is back in session. They will be cases that cover everything from voting rights to the environment. One of the issues that was rejected by the Supreme Court, was two appeals to get rid of the ban on bump stocks. If you have used bump stocks, do you think the ban on bump stocks infringes on your second amendment rights? In Idaho news that has gone National, Chad Daybell wants cameras in the trial, Lori Vallow Daybell doesn't. Do you think you could be an unbiased juror in the Daybell trial? (10/3/22)

There is a mandatory evacuation order throughout several places in Florida. People are being told that if they choose to stay, there will be no first responders to respond to emergencies. Nate compares this response to the vaccine mandates many people were put under. Locally, we are seeing growth all across the Treasure Valley. Among that growth is more high-density apartments being built. Do you have an issue with apartments and other growth happening in your neighborhood? To wrap up today's show, Nate gives time for you to reflect on our interview yesterday with Boise City Councilwoman Willits. University of Idaho sent out a letter to faculty and staff regarding how to handle abortion conversations and birth control on campus. The University of Idaho will no longer be able to dispense contraceptives at its on-campus clinic. Do you think birth control should have limitations when coming from a state funded agency?
