There is an ongoing settlement that proposes that the government could pay up to $450,000 for illegal immigrant families who were separated at the border. That lead to a conversation about Trump border policies, and whether or not people would like Trump to run for president again. Idaho state officials have announced new rules for sales of rare bottles of liquor after liquor store workers have been harrased. Today Nate takes time to say thankyou to our local law enforcement after we have had several situations this week involving shootings and our local police have risen to the occasion to protect us. The Tik Tok Cop, Nate Silvester, joined the program to put the job of an officer in perspective for us and described what the stress of the job looks like. How do we get back to the Idaho that some of us have grown up in, and others of us have moved here to be a part of? Brian Wiley joined Nate to discuss why it's a bad idea to tax the not yet sold stocks of the wealthy. Idaho GOP Chairman Tom Luna also joined today's conversations, where he discussed local elections across the valley. There was a video taken at a Charlie Kirk event that took place in Idaho. The shooter from yesterday's tragic shooting at the Boise Mall has died. Shortly after that news broke, we went live to a press conference where Boise Police Chief Ryan Lee gave updates about the investigation into the shooting. The two people who died yesterday have now been identified, one of which was a security guard who tried to stop the shooter. Nate discusses all of this and takes calls from you about the impact this has had on our community. (10/26/21)
