Nathan Evans Fox is a singer, songwriter, thinker, activist, and all around bad ass from North Carolina who is doing what I see as crucial work. We get into so many reasons why in this episode. His incredible record Heirloom, which is probably my favorite of the year. His must read Substack, which includes his anti-confederate book club. His advocacy for working class Appalachian folks. I am continually impressed by Nathan and am grateful for the time and energy he shared with us.
