Doctrine of the Judgment Seat of Christ continued, beginning with a Cross to the Millennium timeline. Eleven points are discussed, with corresponding passages, covering the characteristics of the JS/C. Believers are warned to prepare for this performance evaluation, which will distinguish between human and divine good. Many will be ashamed and their potential rewards, lost. But believers who are committed and faithful in serving the Lord, who have endured and remained in fellowship—these will approach the JS/C with confidence and receive rewards.

God gives to each of us opportunities to grow spiritually and serve Him. The freedom He grants us to fulfill His plan necessarily means there will be inequality in eternity. The faithful believer will be rewarded at the JS/C; the unfaithful will suffer temporary shame. How does the timing of this future evaluation fit with the Rapture, Tribulation, and Second Advent?

Matt. 25:1-13. The Parable of the Ten Virgins relates to the end of the Tribulation and illustrates that some Jews will be prepared for the Lord's return; others will not. A review of the Jewish wedding tradition's four stages—the betrothal, fetching of the bride, marriage ceremony, and feast—elucidates parallels to Jesus' parable as it applies to the Lord as Bridegroom and the Church as His bride.
