This episode features and encourages all listeners to pray as part of the annual National Day of Prayer. This day was set apart by an act of Congress, with President Ronald Reagan's signature in 1983 and has since been recognized as a day set apart for people of faith to seek God and pray for this nation and its leaders. This episode also covers a brief history of the National Day of Prayer, covers the tremendous intercessory  prayer of Daniel for the Jewish exiles in Daniel 9:3-17, and will conclude with a prayer for the nation. When God's people pray, new hope can arise and God's people may be renewed, along with doing great things for the kingdom! Pray for our nation. Pray for its leaders in accordance with 1 Timothy 2:1-4, and pray for revival! Let's all do our part to set aside time to pray on Thursday, May 6, 2021 - The National Day of Prayer.
