The Trump Administration's National Park Service plans to remove three quotes from the Bunker Hill Monument in Charlestown. The quotes being removed include comments on slavery, war, and immigrants. The removal of the three quotes comes just ahead of the 251st anniversary of the monument on June 17th. Is the removal at all warranted or a clear depiction of censorship of American history? Sen. Ed Markey is outraged about the removal saying, "real Americans’ patriotism doesn’t need censorship to survive, American patriotism is backed by our freedom to speak and be heard.” Do you agree?
