Anti-Semitism is surging—9,354 antisemitic incidents nationwide in 2024 — a 145% increase over 2022 and the highest total since tracking began in 1979.

Why does this matter to Christians? God chose Abraham not to bless Israel alone, but through them to bless ALL nations (Genesis 12:2-3). "Blessed to be a blessing."

Regardless of your theological position on Israel, anti-Semitism is sin. Why? Jesus was Jewish, the apostles were Jewish, the Bible came through Jews, and salvation is from the Jews (John 4:22). God still loves them (Romans 11:28-29).

Christians have a tragic history of anti-Semitism—Crusades, Inquisition, pogroms. We must reject conspiracy theories, hatred, and violence. We're grafted into Abraham's family. Nations blessed by God must share, not hoard. Christ for the world; the world needs Christ.

Genesis 3:15—God's first Gospel promise explains ALL of history. The serpent's offspring versus the woman's offspring in a cosmic war: Satan tried preventing the promised seed through Cain's murder, the flood, Pharaoh's infanticide, threats to David's line, Haman's plot, and Herod's massacre.

Revelation 12 shows the vision: an enormous red dragon waits to devour the child who'll rule nations, but the child is snatched to God's throne. Serpent's head crushed at the cross!

Now the dragon makes war on us—temptations, doubts, persecution. But Jesus promised: "Gates of hell will not prevail." They haven't in 2,000 years. The outcome is certain: Satan thrown into the lake of fire. Stand firm!

Before we leave the story of Christmas behind, we don't want to forget what happened to all baby boys, except Jesus, in Bethlehem...Herod’s massacre was Satan's opening salvo in his war against Christ—and he's been losing ever since.

At Caesarea Philippi, a wicked pagan center called "the gates of hell," Jesus declared: "I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail." Two thousand years of persecution followed—Roman emperors, Islamic conquests, Communist regimes killed 70 million Christians.

Yet the church exploded: Africa grew from 10 million (1900) to 685 million today. China's underground church: 70-100 million. Iran: 1 million converts despite brutal persecution. Why does persecution fail? Martyrs inspire conversion, suffering purifies, and Jesus's promise stands. The gates of hell have NOT prevailed.
