Ps Chrissy Lee - Compassion Moves by Nations Church

The story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 34:30-36) belies the truth that deep down, we are all that “certain man” left isolated and rejected “..on the road to Jericho” - in need of Jesus. Ps Ken Lee’s challenge is to take the power of the gospel to change lives using the sufficiency of what we have - presenting the kind of church Jesus came to die for.

In Deuteronomy 15:4 Moses exhorts the Israelites to transition from a poverty mind set to being an all-conquering people, if they would obey God and give generously. Ps Ken Lee unpacks a powerful message about giving generously to provide the means for the gospel to ride in and change lives this Christmas.

Ps Ken Lee challenges us to consider the state of our feet this Christmas season. When we have an encounter with Jesus we are changed from being the ‘woman at the well’ (John 4:5-26) to the Evangelist of Samaria! As we receive the baton of this message and share the good news of Jesus, our ‘ugly’ feet become beautiful!

How many of us realise that Jesus has done the heavy lifting in our lives so we can be victorious, in the midst of life’s difficult circumstances? In a powerful message from Galatians 6:9, Ps Corey Turner unlocks the keys to not growing weary and reaping a harvest in our ‘due season’.

Like Adam and Eve, it’s often easier to believe the lies of the enemy, doubting the truth of what Jesus has done for us. When we do this, we get the thief and the Lord mixed up! Ps Corey Turner illustrates how lies of condemnation over the conviction of the Holy Spirit prevent us from living life abundantly, as promised by Jesus, the Good Shepherd in John 10:7.

Ps Ken Lee - Being Comfortable With Uncomfortable by Nations Church

Pastor Matt Fielder asks the question, “How do I know I’m hearing from God?” He outlines four ways the peace of God can be our ‘umpire’ where we struggle to hear from Him.

Are we using our gifts to stand for Jesus - or are they ‘keepsakes’ because they’re sitting idle? Pastor Matt gives four compelling pointers to act like Peter (in Acts 2:14) as he shared the love of Christ and pointed people to Jesus.

Jesus never promised ‘storm-free’, but He did promise that if we follow Him, He’ll give us ‘storm-proofing’. Ps Matt breaks down Paul’s miraculous survival at sea in the Adriatic (beginning in Acts 27:13) into seven practical keys to get through a storm.
