In Episode 3 of the Nations Media Podcast you will hear the story of a man that has been arrested over 400 times. Father Louis Vitale has led a radical life following Jesus. His story is told by his nephew and Nations Staff Member, Max McGee.

In episode two of the Nations Podcast we hear from our Editorial Director, Annelise Jolley. Annelise recently visited Greece to report on the refugee crisis. She discovered reformers Voula and Ilias Antouan of Humanitarian Initiative Bridges, an organization that offers Middle Eastern asylum seekers the support, material resources, legal aid, and discipleship they desperately need.

As many have forgotten about the refugee crisis, we feel it is important to feature reformers who are continuing to be agents of change in an uncertain situation. Listen in as Annelise reads her featured article, originally published in April at nationsmedia.org.

In this episode Steven Elliott discusses the death of American hero Pat Tillman by “friendly fire” in Afghanistan. Steven happened to be the one who pulled the trigger, believing he and his fellow soldiers were firing on the enemy.

Tormented by remorse and PTSD in the aftermath of Tillman’s death, Elliott descended into the depths of guilt, alcoholism, and depression; lost his marriage and his faith; and struggled to stay alive. The war that began on foreign soil had followed him home.

Steven is the author of 'War Story,' a memoir detailing the events leading up to, during, and following his time as an Army Ranger in Afghanistan.
