The Washington Nationals battled back from a 2-0 deficit and took a 3-2 lead into the 9th before Yonder Alonso hit a two-out home run to tie it and the San Diego Padres won it in the 11th on a walk-off single by Cameron Maybin.

The Washington Nationals beat the San Diego Padres 6-0 tonight in Petco Park with Tanner Roark throwing eight scoreless innings on the mound for the win. The Nats improved to 31-28.
