Natsu Fuji (Gabriel Karl Tshimanga Mukadi) is a Belgian-Congolese music producer, DJ, remixer and cultural curator based in Brussels. He is the founder of MoFlameMusic, 1/3 of QWANTICS, 1/2 of La2Mande, and a former member of Schemaposse. His work sits at the intersection of club music, hip-hop, Jersey Club, baile funk, electronic music, anime, video games and global pop culture — approaching DJing from the perspective of a producer rather than being confined to a single genre.
His name combines his lifelong connection to Natsu Dragneel from Fairy Tail with Mount Fuji, representing his ambition to build something larger than himself through music.
Natsu’s musical journey began in 2004, when he started making beats with Music 2000 / MTV Music Generator. In 2010, he discovered FL Studio and spent a year mastering the software before bringing his productions to YouTube. From the early 2010s onward, he became part of the internet-native producer ecosystem that grew around YouTube, SoundCloud and beat culture, developing a distinctive identity through sampling, video-game flips, anime-inspired productions and genre-bending remixes.
He became particularly recognized for productions such as “Kawaii Party” and “Senpai” by Shiki-TMNS, alongside collaborations and productions connected to artists and creators from the online music and gaming communities. His production credits also extend into video games, including the co-production of “Ice Shaved” for No More Heroes III.
In 2020, Natsu expanded from production into DJing, turning his production mentality into a live format. Rather than approaching DJing through a fixed genre, he developed an open-format, producer-led style capable of moving between hip-hop, trap, R&B, Jersey Club, baile funk, electronic music, K-pop, anime/game music and unexpected pop-culture records.
His live career has brought him to stages and events across Belgium and Europe, including TwitchCon Amsterdam 2022, Dour Festival, Les Ardentes, and N-Joy. At Dour, he participated in the Tarmac Tremplin with Scatcat, while his appearance at Les Ardentes came alongside Myk. He has also performed at numerous Brussels venues and cultural spaces, including Sneakers Café, where he has held a residency, as well as Le Lift/UNIQ, Madame Moustache, Kultura, Jardin Hospice, Le Tunnel and other local stages.
Alongside his individual DJ work, Natsu has increasingly used collective projects as a way to develop his musical identity. Through La2Mande and QWANTICS, he operates within a wider creative ecosystem combining DJing, production, events and contemporary internet-driven music culture.
His recent output reflects an increasingly club-oriented direction. Releases such as MINDSTORMING, HENDRXX 33, Years Ago, I Was Chinese, tv off (Natsu Fuji Remix), The Heart Part 4 (GNX Remix), Nin Nin ’26 (Jersey Club) and Sé Miimii (Boosté) demonstrate his continued movement between original production, remix culture, sampling and contemporary club sounds. His 2026 output has further leaned into Jersey Club and dance-driven material, including “I.D.I.F.L [I DID IT FOR LOVE]” and recent remix work.
At the same time, Natsu continues to maintain a strong connection to the video-game and anime worlds that helped define his early identity. Projects such as Deadly Xtreme (DOA 3 Tribute), The Iron Fist Experience Vol. 1, Worldwide Warriors, and his extensive archive of game-inspired productions demonstrate how deeply gaming culture remains embedded in his musical language.
Over more than a decade of independent production, Natsu Fuji has built a catalog spanning hundreds of releases, remixes, collaborations and DJ mixes, while accumulating a reach approaching the half-billion-view/stream mark across his broader catalog and platforms. His work has received recognition from major online creators and producers, including araabMUZIK, while his production history connects him to the wider internet-era beat and SoundCloud culture of the 2010s.
His influences range from DJ Paul, TM88, D.Rich, DeeDotWill and Jahlil Beats to SEGA SOUND TEAM, 2NE1, Girls' Generation and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, alongside anime, fighting games, Japanese pop culture and the constantly evolving online producer scene.
Today, Natsu Fuji operates less as a conventional genre-specific artist and more as a producer-led musical worldbuilder: a DJ who thinks like a beatmaker, a producer who thinks like a curator, and an artist whose sets and releases connect underground club culture with anime, gaming, internet culture and global pop music.
From the early SoundCloud and YouTube era to festival stages such as Dour and Les Ardentes, and into the contemporary Brussels club scene, Natsu Fuji continues to build a musical identity around one principle:
no genre is off limits if it makes the room move.
