It's always easier to pay attention to the blatant intrusion of a pushy personality than to see the subtle and more genuine attributes of the true alpha; we're more likely to get it shoved in our faces. But true alphas aren't bullies, and they don't have intentions of destruction or greed among peers. Don't get an alpha confused with a jerk.

The dark side of mother nature is disturbing; she shakes us up and opens our eyes to harsh changes and the callous nature driving our own survival. We, along with the Universe, are in possession of malevolence as well as generosity. Yin and Yang. We all counterbalance. There is a time and place for everything.

Today I'm talking about my highly respected brother Snake. These serpents have been around close to 100 million years, and are spiritually referenced in some of the oldest documents discovered. Snakes are seriously interesting creatures in the way they operate and dominate our imaginations. Come take a walk with me and explore a very old, hypnotically enticing creature... and humanity.

Today I'm reading a short story I wrote back in 2016 called "Eva's Search For Heart". Then I go on to talk for a few minutes about heartfelt connections in urban settings and the power of inner child imagination.

Just when everything gets dark, there comes a faint glow of something magical...
Creation of bliss from the blackened state of our minds is powerful, and a thing of care and deliberation. There's always light in the strangest and most secluded places.

How do we balance our lives between technological conveniences and the living breath of nature? The Kogi, a tribe living in the Sierra Nevada range, believe that the sicknesses sweeping the earth are a result of our mega destruction of land and water. I'm starting to believe it, too. Is this planet trying to tell us something?

In this episode, I'm pondering the things I've learned out here in the wild from watching the daily routines of animals, as well as some of the research I've done on the subject. I firmly believe that if we could all get back to our natural state of intelligence, which is more inherently generated from our hearts and the core of our spirits, we could function just as efficiently as a wild animal

In light of current events, most importantly the death of George Floyd, I will be addressing the state of racism & the mistreatment of black men and women in America. This is a special podcast; I'm not airing the usual content of this show. I believe this is a time in which we need to come together and show our support for one another, and especially for those who have been abused, oppressed, and wronged for centuries. Please share this podcast with those who need to hear it. If we don't show our support and our love for each other in this time of need, this is never going to get better. I therefore challenge everyone to muster up the courage to talk about this and get the truth out into the open.
