Fun and sneaky educational
I loved that the heroine had to be a man and how she was treated so differently when she was a "man". So much science and history woven into the book - made it very interesting to read. There are sly, insider Dutch nuggets here - including the longest Dutch name I've ever seen. Wonder if the author made it up? I was hooked from page one - and the ending could have gone in several directions, and the direction chosen was quite satisfying - I was rooting for that!

A great read, engrossing and exciting -- perfect summertime reading material. I really like the combination of adventure, romance, science and historical fiction this story offers. The author does a wonderful job of bringing serious questions on several issues (gender, religion and science among them) to light while keeping things entertaining.
A great read!
From the moment I opened this book it was extremely difficult to put this fast moving book down! The author does a masterful job of character development. Her historical research was "spot on" and her sense of whimsy made me smile. Natural Attraction allowed me to laugh, cry, dream and learn.
Upon completion of the book I found myself longing for another book by this author! A great read!

This gender-bending historical romance is an intelligent and imaginative tale that demonstrates the power of life and love, no matter what the time or place. The book broadened my perspective and made me think, as well as being superbly entertaining.
