Why do you need to cleanse your body?
Your body needs to cleanse itself daily of toxins that result from the intake of foods, water, and air you breathe. When there are more toxins than nutrients in the cells of your body, you will notice a lack of pep and energy. This is your body’s message that “something is wrong” and needs correction.

How do toxins build up?
Detoxification is the body’s natural process for eliminating or neutralizing toxins via the liver, the kidneys, perspiration, and exhalation.
Ever since the industrial revolution and the post-World War II petrochemical industry, toxins have been accumulating in the human body faster than they can be eliminated.
The body absorbs toxins from our environment. The toxins include such things as industrial chemicals, pesticides, food additives, heavy metals, tobacco, and air pollution.
How many sessions do I need?
Initially, a series of up to 10 sessions are recommended – once or twice a week. This allows your body to completely purge the accumulated toxins and get your body clean.
Once clean, a monthly or bi-monthly maintenance program is recommended to ensure that toxins do not re-accumulate due to absorption from environmental exposure. The appropriate number of sessions will be determined by your body – your feeling of well-being – your energy levels.
What can I expect to feel?
While each person’s experience is entirely different (according to the type of toxins and which systems of the body have been stressed), most people experience a re-balancing period directly after the session. While you can resume normal daily activities following your session, it is recommended that you allow some time to rest and relax afterwards, so your body can more easily and quickly “re-calibrate.”
Some people have felt tired following their sessions, while others felt an immediate rejuvenation and rebound in their energy levels. It all depends on what is going on with each individual and his or her body. (See testimonials).
Can everyone use the system?
If an individual has been quite sick, we recommend that he or she should go through the process at a slower pace.
A schedule of once a week or every other week would be advisable, as the process of detoxification continues even after the session has formally ended.
Drinking more water is extremely beneficial and we encourage you to drink more during and after your session (and always!). (Dehydration – the lack of enough water in your body – is one of the common denominators of all diseases!)
The following conditions are contraindicated for those planning to have a Platinum Energy Systems™ session::
* People with pacemakers
* People who have had organ transplants
* People who suffer from psychotic episodes or seizures
* People with epilepsy
* During pregnancy or lactation
* Open wounds on feet
* Children under the age of 5 years old
Will the water change colour even when there are no feet in the water?
Yes – due to the chemical interaction of the water, salt, and the ionic exchange occurring with the array. Part of the colour change occurs because of the natural oxidation of the metal (the array).
Why does the water change colour?
The chemistry of salt, water, metal (the array), and sweat combine to cause the change in colour. This is a normal process. The colour will vary according to the chemistry found in the water. What is meaningful is the content of the water, not the colour.
While it is interesting to see the different colours with different people, we recommend that attention and focus be placed on what the individual is experiencing internally, as opposed to what is happening externally (in the water).
How does this process of detoxification work?
There are more sweat glands in your feet per inch than anywhere on your body. The array creates an energetic effect that assists the detoxification process by drawing the content out of the sweat glands into the water. The salt increases the conductivity of the water so that the effect can occur. Hence, the colour changes seen in the water are related to the chemical interaction.
What waste products are expelled by the sweat glands in the feet?
“Eccrine sweat is produced via merocrine secretion in the coiled gland, and is composed of water, sodium, potassium lactate, urea, ammonia, serine, ornithine, citrulline, aspartic acid, heavy metals, organic compounds, and proteolytic enzymes. Eccrine sweat then passes through the acrosyringium and is deposited on the skin surface.”

What do I have to do?
You will sit in a chair and place your feet in a Platinum Energy Systems™ foot spa of warm, salt water for 30 minutes. All you need to do is relax and rest.
Will it remove medications from my body?
No – only toxins are removed from the sweat glands in your feet. No vitamins, minerals, or medications are excreted. The only thing that is “downloaded” is your waste by-products and your accumulated toxins!
