Every month deserves a little looking-back, and October gave me a lot to sit with.
This month, we picked up right where September left off. We'd pruned, we'd sat with the quiet after the cut, and then we talked about the part almost nobody covers: how you keep new growth alive. The episode was called Tending What You Chose to Keep.
A few things this month taught me:
- New growth is fragile before it's established, so don't rush back to your old pace
- Tending isn't the same as controlling. You can create the conditions, but you can't force the outcome
- What you keep still needs seasons of rest, and a slowdown doesn't mean something is dying
If you've been sitting with the question from the episode (what does this need from me right now, not forever, just right now), I hope this recap gives you a little more room to breathe.
Coming next: Boundaries Without Guilt. Once something is growing, it needs protecting.
