3.26.25 - Day 2/13 of the Red Dragon Wavespell - Solar Moon 20

The new Tzolkin seemed to roll in without a lot of sparks, which makes sense after the Yellow Star wavespell which was all sparks, all the time. And the Solar Moon surround with its fiery corona also dims the subtlety and inward darkness of the Red Dragon wavespell's birth channel. Mostly just be in touch with both: speed, urgency, focus, intention in the Solar moment, and abeyance, withdrawal and deep mystical emergence in the Red Dragon one. And Mercury is in the heart of retrograde which adds to being inside and away from what isn't working. As much as it disrupts so many of our decencies in everyday living, Mercury Retrograde, in its epicenter, is perfect for soulful solace and creation.

3.24.25 - Day 13/13 of the Yellow Star Wavespell - Solar Moon 18

It's the last day of the Tzolkin! A portal day. A 13:20 day (tone 13, tribe 20). How wonderful that you know what the Tzolkin is and are in this esoteric laboratory of shamanic and indigenous symbols. Enjoy that you completed another Tzolkin journey, where time is tracked as a spiritual journey, not a count of anything more than wavespell upon wavespell and tribe upon tribe. Falling into rhythm and facing our karma. Tomorrow we begin again - privately, in our specialized sect, spread thinly across the world and often away from each other. But we share this knowledge and intent.

3.22.25 - Day 11/13 of the Yellow Star Wavespell - Solar Moon 16

The wave breaks in the Yellow Star wavespell, which actually means its manifestation is complete and we can let go. The daily drill of Yellow Star abates and we are left with the lessons, so we are less aggravated, warlike, and more aware of what we may have gained in the battle. We are also done with being aggressed upon, directly in personal relationships, or in a larger societal situation. The White Mirror moment dispels, disrupts the rampant star-like virility. So ends the Tzolkin, so soon. Notice where you've journeyed since last July of 2024, for 260 days. Notice the accomplishments and ways of change that have taken place in the duration. And prepare for the new spin, the new karmic drama.

We keep following the wave of Yellow Star to the end of the Tzolkin. For those of us who follow the Mayan cycles, we have a private, small collective of disciples sharing the importance of this transit. In some effect, we are becoming stars, or star people, if that bit of New Age speak doesn't offend. Just lifting off the mortal coil and planetary toil for a millisecond and feeling ourselves as light and ether. And joining the essence of the Maya that seemed to ascend to the cosmos after their empire expired here on earth. It's a bit dreamy and out there, suitable to this Red Skywalker day, but mostly just pay closer attention to these waning days of one completion of the uterine vessel that is our 260-day path.

3.14.25 - Day 3/13 of the Yellow Star Wavespell - Solar Moon 8

This is the final wavespell of the Tzolkin. Slow down the frenetic pace of other Mayan themes - the Blue Rhythmic Storm year, the Solar Moon, the way the Gregorian year 2025 can be also identified as Solar, White Solar Mirror - by taking this last wavespell one conscious day at a time. Look at your calendar, embrace the day's tribe for clarity and stability. Use your knowledge that every spiritual path, and every recovery path, asks us to be present with a contained concept of time so we parcel out what we can handle, and only attend to it.

3.13.25 - Day 2/13 of the Blue Eagle Wavespell - Solar Moon 7

Yellow Star is an emblem of beauty, the kind of impressive gem-like stature that creates awe. Sometimes that lends to our appreciation of art, or of embellishing our clothes or extra coiffing, so that we are by accident reminded to represent the stars in ourselves. For the Maya, this level of intense beauty was what could also define a powerful warrior. Yellow Star was Venus in the sky, and its resilience, its identifiable largesse, was an inspiration for virility and even aggression.Think of the plumage of male birds, the mane of a male lion. These animals are protectors and predators who want to intimidate. In Yellow Star, we may have these tendencies, or actually feel victim to this intensity. There is a lot of male aggression already resurgent in society right now, and maybe Yellow Star pushes it so far along that some of us will be scared, oppressed and war-torn - actual or emotional - for a while.

3.10.25 - Day 12/13 of the Blue Eagle Wavespell - Solar Moon 4

The Blue Eagle wavespell gave us a huge vista of clarity about our personal lives and our society. We are probably almost calm with realizations that became crystallized about what is working for us, why things are unfolding as they are, and what is no bueno. It's the gift of Blue Eagle that we can see the big picture. And just as the wavespell ends, we may see it start to blur. Try to note or log what you learned in this wavespell. It was the culmination of the whole Tzolkin cycle that will end with the next Yellow Star wavespell. You will see how you've progressed, and how the culture has, and where they diverge.

3.7.25 - Day 9/13 of the Blue Eagle Wavespell - Solar Moon 1

Today is the first of the Solar Moon in our evolving Natural Time (Mayan) year called Blue Rhythmic Storm. Conversely to a Gregorian year, which starts with intention, goals, overloaded aspirations, Mayan cycles require a lot of preparation before the human ego can state its wants and needs. But we have - after 8 earlier stages - reached that time and freedom in our year count. You can trust that you did a lot of groundwork to find your true purpose, to overcome your true challenges, to integrate a true inspiration from your higher power, and now you can light yourself on fire and go for what you realize you desire. It will be fast-paced and potentially exhausting, but day one you might just feel relieved to finally let loose and get busy.

3.5.25 - Day 7/13 of the Blue Eagle Wavespell - Galactic Moon 27

Only 20 days left in this 260-day Tolkien cycle. We can finish out the Blue Eagle wavespell, go through the Yellow Star one, and it's time to renew. Ending is easier than revving up in Mayan astrology. We end in resolution and if not harmony, then harmonizing with instead of feeling antagonized by our fate. Then we start again, and there are many rough edges yet to be burnished, some that are even so sharp as to feel lethal. But we are in the space of ending, resolving, seeing reward, for a while longer. Enjoy!
