Cs: V hustém lese blízko Čertovy Stěny se ptáčci ozývali radostným zpěvem a tiché šumění potoka znělo jako hudba z přírody.
En: In the dense forest near Čertovy Stěny, the birds sang a joyful song, and the gentle murmur of the brook sounded like music from nature.
Cs: Bylo léto, a zelené koruny stromů vytvářely příjemný stín.
En: It was summer, and the green tree crowns provided a pleasant shade.
Cs: Ladislav s Petrou šli po stezce, nabaleni batohem plným věcí na víkendové kempování.
En: Ladislav and Petra walked along the path, hauling a backpack full of things for a weekend of camping.
Cs: Ladislav, vždy nadšený venku a do přírody až příliš optimistický, rád o přírodě mluvil.
En: Ladislav, always enthusiastic outdoors and overly optimistic about nature, loved talking about it.

En: It was a miniature tent.

En: "Ladislav, this is for dolls!"
Cs: “ smála se Petra, když ten maličký stan před ním ležel v trávě.
En: Petra laughed as the tiny tent lay before him in the grass.
Cs: „Jak tohle postavíme?
En: "How are we supposed to set this up?"
Cs: “Ladislav se zarazil.
En: Ladislav was taken aback.
Cs: Chtěl Petru ohromit, ale teď to vypadalo, že vše se kazí.
En: He wanted to impress Petra, but now it seemed everything was going wrong.
Cs: Slunce už pomalu začínalo zapadat.
En: The sun was already beginning to set.
Cs: Petra se však nenechala vyvést z míry.
En: Petra, however, was undeterred.
Cs: „Neboj, něco vymyslíme,“ dodala Petrova.
En: "Don't worry, we'll figure something out," she assured.
Cs: Ladislav začal sbírat větve, sáhl i po malých klacíků a listí.
En: Ladislav started gathering branches, reaching for little sticks and leaves as well.
Cs: „Uděláme přístřešek,“ rozhodl se odhodlaně.
En: "We'll make a shelter," he decided resolutely.
Cs: Petra mu pomohla a společně postavili něco na způsob chatrče.
En: Petra helped him, and together they built something akin to a hut.
Cs: Nebylo to perfektní, ale dalo se tam schovat.
En: It wasn't perfect, but it was a place to hide.
Cs: Sotva dokončili výtvor, začalo pršet.
