For the rest of the month of May and part of June, we will be discussing legendary Japanese filmmaker/auteur Hayao Miyazaki in an event we are calling Mayazaki! In the first part of this series we discuss one of our favorite films, the underrated classic Nausicaa Of The Valley Of The Wind. This beautiful and influential film features princesses, adventure, monstrously giant pill bugs, and it helped launch Studio Ghibli. What's not to like?
