Part 1 of 2: A longtime friend, Ralf Neumann is a leader in the PolyLux 24-7 Prayer Community in Neubrandenberg, North East Germany, and we kick off our time hanging out by talking about his cultural context and the patience and faithfulness in being the Church in one of the most a-religious areas in Europe.

While Lisa Koons (USA National Director of 24-7 Prayer) was in town we were able to sneak in a brief conversation and get a verbal tour of the shape and stories of the Charlotte 24-7 Prayer Room, and hear how creative engagements in a sacred space can open us up to meet a God who’s particular about being everywhere and somewhere specific.

Part 2 of 2: After years in pastoral and missions work, Nathan and Marisa Chud landed back in their home turf of Alaska working in their respective fields of education and law. In this episode we dig into Nathan’s journey of embracing the calling of Jesus to work “outside the Ministry” and the process of fighting through a sacred/secular divide to normalize a sense of dignity in the calling to work—and seek the Kingdom—in the spheres of society.

Part 3 of 3: Drew continues with more stories of seeing how Jesus is intimately moving in the Middle East, and talks about his family finding a balance of outward movement vs the inner life through rhythms of being with God for God’s sake in the practices of stillness and solitude.

Part 2 of 3: In this part of our conversation with Drew, he dives into stories of his family’s engagement in the midst of disciple-making movements and seeing fruit emerge out of the place of rest and abiding with God over strategic planning.
