After college – Ricks followed in her family’s footsteps by joining the Navy and becoming a Naval officer and occupational therapist. Moving forward in her career wasn’t hard – as Ricks identified her passion for helping military personnel and their families. As luck would have it – Ricks was asked to expand her vision to include the youngest members of the US Navy’s population – the babies. Designing an Occupational Therapy Neonatal Intensive Care Program – Normanie Ricks was recognized by the Joint Commission Hospital Accreditation Commission.

Now leading her own company – ACHIEVE SOLUTIONS – Ricks still focuses on pediatric therapies, and runs of the best organizations in the Southeast, United States.
