In this illuminating episode of Overwhelmed and Over It, host Gabs sits down with Faith, a nonprofit strategist who's about to celebrate her third year in business. Faith candidly shares how she spent nearly a year battling imposter syndrome and trying to follow everyone else's blueprint for success before having her breakthrough moment.
Together, they explore the danger of chasing arbitrary revenue goals, the importance of aligning your business with your authentic self, and why entrepreneurship feels so hard (spoiler: because it is!). Faith also reveals her exciting next chapter—writing her first book on burnout and building a team that allows her to focus on her zone of genius.
Perfect for early-stage entrepreneurs questioning their path or feeling lost in the noise of "expert" advice, this conversation reminds us that success looks different for everyone, and the most fulfilling journey is the one that stays true to your unique values and vision.

Faith is the owner and principal consultant of Alo Civitas Consulting LLC where she focuses on building capacity for change amongst those with influence over others like parents, business and community leaders, nonprofit executives, and entrepreneurs. She does this through three core service tiers- professional development, grant and project management, and strategic improvement consultation. All that we do ties back to its namesake which means nourishing communities. Faith has a Bachelors in Human Development and a Masters in Higher Education. Throughout more than a decade of experience, she has served individuals and communities through nonprofit, faith-based, and public health organizations. She also has been an entrepreneur for the last decade. Outside of her business, Faith loves to spend time with her husband, two dogs, and enjoying her friends and family. She loves trying new food scenes, being outdoors, and working out. Faith serves on two local boards in the Columbus Ohio area and is actively involved in her church. Faith is passionate about helping people be the change they want to see.
