I’m so excited to introduce my dear friend Amanda to the podcast. This might be an emotional podcast for some because we’ll be talking about in vitro fertilization and some tough childhood diagnoses. Amanda and her husband are highschool sweethearts and began trying to have a baby at 26 years old. IVF was the recommended course of action, but Amanda was just not ready for that. She could sense that this was frustrating for the doctor, but when you get a diagnosis for the first time like this, it takes time, real time to process how to move forward. It took 2 years of Amanda and her husband trying alternative ways before saying yes to IVF. Tune in to hear Amanda’s journey in this week’s episode and how she came to have her lovely son Ben, and some of the complications that came along with it.
