  • Navigating in vitro fertilization with Amanda
I’m so excited to introduce my dear friend Amanda to the podcast. This might be an emotional podcast for some because we’ll be talking about in vitro fertilization and some tough childhood diagnoses. Amanda and her husband are highschool sweethearts and began trying to have a baby at 26 years old. IVF was the recommended course of action, but Amanda was just not ready for that. She could sense that this was frustrating for the doctor, but when you get a diagnosis for the first time like this, it takes time, real time to process how to move forward. It took 2 years of Amanda and her husband trying alternative ways before saying yes to IVF. Tune in to hear Amanda’s journey in this week’s episode and how she came to have her lovely son Ben, and some of the complications that came along with it.

  • The Story and Vision of GrowCO with Dr. Alli Cain
Ever wonder how GrowCo started? In this episode, I share my own story, and how I discovered my passion to raise the standard of care for postnatal women. As an entrepreneur, my CrossFit gym was filled with women who struggled with chronic pelvic and back pain. As a chiropractor with 10 years of specialized education, I saw a huge vacuum in medical training when it came to helping women recover from giving birth. So in 2018, when I was 32 weeks pregnant with my first baby, I wrote out my own rehab program, shared it with some other mothers, and GrowCo was born. I now have the privilege of not only helping postpartum women, but also training fellow chiropractors, physiotherapists, and health professionals so that, together, we can support women worldwide.

  • Perseverance During Pregnancy with Jeenie Brasseur
Pregnancy is often caricatured as joyful, exciting, and enjoyable, but for many women, it presents intense physical, emotional, and psychological challenges. That’s why I love the honesty of Jeenie Brasseur, owner of Keep It Fit Women, a fitness and wellness company that helps women of all levels progress to their fitness goals. Jeenie is incredibly strong and refreshingly real.
During each of her three pregnancies, she suffered from extreme nausea and vomiting, a condition known as hyperemesis gravidarum (HD). Her symptoms escalated during her third pregnancy, landing her in the hospital, plunging her into a dark season of doubt, physical pain, and stress. With two toddlers and a booming business demanding her attention, Jeenie felt helpless and overwhelmed. Her story explores how fitness is less about how you look and more about becoming your healthiest, holistic self. You don’t want to miss this one!

  • Life as a Mom and CEO with Carly Ottaway
In this episode, I talk with Carly Ottaway, founder and CEO of Web of Words, a boutique copywriting, website design, and social media marketing agency. About three years into her business, Carly had her first daughter, plunging her into the challenge of motherhood and entrepreneurship. Although being a new mother and running a quickly-growing business was challenging, she plotted a way forward through tenacity and flexibility.
Carly’s hard-earned wisdom is crucial for any woman seeking to build a business and raise kids. She shares about the importance of delegating work to a quality team, communicating well with your partner, and figuring out maternity leave as an entrepreneur. If you need a shot of encouragement, let Carly’s story inspire you—despite the stereotype that having kids tanks business success, she feels it’s elevated her managerial skills to new heights!

  • The Impact of Pediatric Chiropractic with Dr. Casey Baker
In this latest episode, I chop it up with Dr. Casey Baker, a pediatric chiropractor who helps mothers and newborns thrive. The value of having a newborn assessed by a specialized chiropractor is often overlooked, but it can help solve issues like difficulty latching and acid reflux for infants, and breastfeeding pain for mothers.
We spend significant time unpacking tongue-ties. We tackle common questions like: What is a tongue-tie? How do you tell if your baby has one? What should you do about it? What are the dangers of leaving a baby’s poor tongue function unaddressed?
We close the show with a brief conversation about the benefits of taking your child to a specialist vs. generalist. No patient is a textbook case or formula. Everyone deserves to be treated uniquely. And that’s what I love about Dr. Baker’s work一she raises the bar high one patient at a time!

  • Health and Hormones with Jenn Pike
In this episode, I talk hormones with my good friend Jenn Pike. Hair loss, sleep deprivation, anxiety, digestive issues, no period… These are a handful of the issues women ask Jenn to help them with. She’s a functional diagnostic nutritionist, who specializes in women’s health and hormones. That’s a fancy way of saying she’s an awesome advocate for women, especially during the hormonally turbulent postpartum season. Her passion is to educate, not just treat, negative symptoms. Jenn wants every woman to truly understand her body, and to be proactive vs. reactive when it comes to health. We discuss the unique challenges of various life stages, the benefits of being educated about your own body, and why the journey to feeling great requires personal ownership.

  • Navigating Sexual Dysfunction with Dr. Jordin Wiggins
Today it gets juicy as I interview Dr. Jordin Wiggins about sex. We talk about sexual dysfunction, which affects more than 40% of women. We dive deep into discussing things like: how stress impacts libido, why women feel shame about their lack of sexual drive, and how women can care for themselves holistically as they recover from giving birth. We hold nothing back in this episode — thank you Dr. Wiggins for being an informed, encouraging voice on this oft-ignored subject.
