This is a pretty wild episode. Nick and Jason discuss both the full She-Hulk and Thor 4 trailers, make a Contenders announcement, and butt heads over Moon Knight. It's chaotic, and Nick definitely has some words for Jason as the show goes on.
Buckle your seatbelts, because this is a long one. This is the one where we actually navigate the multiverse... kind of. After a brief Contenders, it's time for Dr. Strange 2 (total spoilers!).
The guys talk about the Thor 4 teaser trailer about 10 times longer than it actually is, get into a really complicated round of Contenders, and then discuss the first MCU Dr. Strange movie and how it could lead into Multiverse of Madness.
This week, after another quick round of Contenders, Nick explains to Jason the wonder that is the 1978 TV Movie version of Dr. Strange... that may or may not be as bad as you think it'd be. Also, Jason may or may not be paying full attention. And Nick has a few technical difficulties. Overall, it's a pretty... strange... episode.
Yeah, you read that right. We're peeking into another multiverse for a minute. But we're also introducing a new format to the show, which includes a discussion on Morbius news and what is quite possibly the single greatest round of Contenders, before going into the new DC flick.
After a brief talk on Morbius, Nick and Jason get into Avengers: Age of Ultron and WandaVision 1-3. How many names can they both forget and/or butcher today?
The guys give another raincheck to the Daredevil movie, but we still finish off Season 1 of the show first. There's also some talk of Superbowl trailers in the form of a brief Moon Knight ad and, of course... the Multiverse of Madness trailer, which we get all into.
It's time for another episode of everybody's favorite What If battles, Contenders, including the People's Votes from the Rabbit Hole Podcast Facebook Page (we also probably say that way too much. Maybe we should change our name to Navigating the Plugs and RunPee Podcast.) Jason continues to have trouble with names. And the guys cover episodes 1.7-9 of Daredevil.
Remember when we did that bizarre, old Captain America movie? It's time to do something like that again. Nick and Jason hop right in on the new Moon Knight trailer before getting into the 1977 made-for-TV Spider-Man film that acted as a pilot for the short-lived live-action TV show starring Nicholas Hammond (where were you in No Way Home, huh?!). Then the guys get into episodes 4-6 of Daredevil.
Spoilers... for practically all of 2021. Nick and Jason talk the Hawkeye finale (while somehow forgetting to discuss the climax?) before getting into their Top 10 Marvel 2021 releases. To make it an extra special New Year Episode, the guys also started the Netflix Daredevil show. It's a jam-packed episode with lots of opinions, lots of wrap-ups, lots of theories, and lots of spoilers.
