Stage, screen and TV star Barry Nelson first became a Monitor host in 1963 and remained on the program until 1967.  After hosting Saturday afternoon Monitor for a couple of years, he became Sunday afternoon’s host in ’65, and on this first-Sunday-of-the-New Year in 1966.
