Born in Winnipeg, MB and raised in Saskatoon, SK, Jamie was a graduate of Aden Bowman Collegiate and would go on to be a dual athlete at the University of Saskatchewan, playing both Huskie Football and Basketball. Jamie started his education career as a grade 3 teacher at Cando Community School before joining NBCHS in 2008. Here he would eventually serve as VP for 2 years before moving on to become principal of Hafford Central School for 5 (Go Vikings!).
Now back as our school’s career and guidance counsellor, Jamie gets to continue to live out his passion for coaching and encouraging students, both as a guidance counsellor and athletic coach. Listen in to this episode of NBCHS Over Coffee to find out who Jamie’s favourite University classmate was (well… he doesn’t actually say that… but it's implied) and find out why Jamie really decided to suit up for the Huskie Football team a second time, after a two year stint with the Hilltops.
